Ball screw: make conversion of rotary motion into linear motion!
It is well known that friction caused by contact between parts, it will reduce working efficiency and damage mechanical equipment. The use of ball can effectively reduce the friction of parts, and the ball screw is a component using this principle.
Ball screw is the most commonly used transmission element in tool machinery and precision machinery. Its main function is to convert rotary motion into linear motion, or torque into axial repeated force. At the same time, it has the characteristics of high accuracy, reversibility and high efficiency.
The ball screw is composed of nut and the screw. The steel ball in the spiral groove between them. When the screw rotates, the rotation of the screw makes the nut move in a straight line, while the ball rolls along the spiral groove. The sliding friction is replaced by rolling friction, which greatly reduces the impact of friction.
The position of correction is determined by the values displayed on the instrument. The general accuracy requirement is to be controlled within 20 micron, while the length of 800mm will be controlled within 30 micron.
After fine grinding(C0094-C0101), ultrasonic cleaning(C0102-C0104), degreasing(C0105) and assembly(C0111-C0117), the running-in machine will be used to run the assembled ball screw for 2 to 4 hours, mainly to repair the unsmooth part. After the finished product passes the ball screw SIP, a ball screw is finished. SIP means Standard Inspection Procedure, including the inspection each part of of the ball screw such as appearance, direction, size, fluency and so on.
Ball screw is widely used in various industrial equipment and precision instruments due to its efficient mechanical movement and high precision.
