If you're not sure about parts of the Ball Screw Rack in nylon being able to deliver rigidity under loads like milling aluminum, here's your data.
Commanded diameter: 0.480" Actual: 0.481"
This driver compound is made from 50% infill printed nylon. Cut at 100ipm /13krpm with just a roughing pass, helical path at 0.010" depth per pass with a 3 flute 1/4" TiAlN Carbide cutter.
The limiting factor will likely be the gantry rigidity and other parts, rather than the nylon compound part. It has a 70mm or so face and the load is distributed across that, so deflection should be very minimal here.
