My husband lost his virginity at 11 to a 22 year old woman. To this day he tells the story like it’s a good thing, something he should be proud of. I’ve told him before that even if he liked it whatever it’s still not okay. That was a full grown woman and even if he was the one who came onto her, she was the adult and should’ve shut it down immediately. It’s still assault point blank. Yea. It wasn’t until I explained to my boyfriend that a 22 year old woman having sex with a 13 year old boy is just as bad as if it was the other way around that he understood that he was abused. He’s always liked older women since then and he couldn’t figure out why he was so hyper sexual. I broke it down for him and asked if he would be okay with a grown woman/man hunching on our kids…and he just got quiet and was like, “Damn. I never thought about it like that cause it happened to my friends too”. Crazy thing is, once other grown women predators realized he was sleeping with the 22 year old, they started approaching him too. Just like what men do to little girl victims.
