So there’s this one guy you’ve probably seen him a thousand times saying, “dharr Mann is trash,” or like saying, “I’m better than him.” Don’t click on his videos and give him a dislike because he just wants the attention and wants the views so he can make money. Lizzy - you are a woman of great courage and dignity! I did a Master's years ago in eating disorders and body shaming seems to have become part of our culture. I am so glad you have made the strides you have, so kudos to you and your Aunt for being so strong! You are a fabulous Role Model and while I cannot dance (I have arthritic feet) I really enjoyed watching in this clip!

Lizzy. You are so beautiful and such an inspiration to me. I have loved dance my whole life and was bullied out of it. Today I’m a 41 yr old mom of a competition dancer and watching her love her body and what she can do with it makes me cry every time I watch her dance. She doesn’t struggle with her weight like I have so her story isn’t the same.. but honey. Watching you love yourself and love your body makes me cry too. I am so proud of you. Your mom would be so proud of you. The hurt of being told we aren’t good enough to do what we love can be so deep and long lasting. I’ve taken tap classes as an adult and loved it but I was still too ashamed to try ballet again. But now. I think I will. Thank you.

There's one thing that's not true. Treatment for pseudotumor cerebri doesn't make you fat, ironically, one of the recommended treatments is to lose weight.

i’m a dancer and everybody has told me that i have “the dancers body” but tbh every body is a dancers body. you be confident when you’re dancing. and if dancing makes you happy and feel free i recommend you do it.

Well, not everyone. Ballerinas are tall and slim, hip hop dancers tend to be shorter etc. Everyone can dance, bur not everyone has a "dancers body"

@@baileyelaine I'm not body shaming anyone. A plus size person can dance just as well as a super skinny one, and feel happy and confident. What i'm trying to say is that dance body types exist. Seach for ballet dancers, MOST of them have nearly the same type of body, tho not everyone of course. Just like most gymnasts are short, basketball players tall, etc. That's not body shaming, is saying the truth.

Good for you, Lizzy! Too many people judge a book by its cover and you are an inspiration! You have such a beautiful soul! People who are quick to judge someone based on weight, color, religion, sex, should walk a mile in that person's shoes, experience what that person is going through before they judge. I am so glad, Lizzy, that you decided to pursue your passion and dreams. I used to dance most of my time growing up. I have had my battle with weight but haven't let it stop me from being the best person I can be. To look at you and see this beautiful lady with a glowing smile doing what she has a passion for just makes me so happy for you. Keep on doing what you love to do. I’m slightly overweight and was since I was around 9.. I used to do ballet but quit since I felt so insecure about my body and that caused me to not have fun during sessions anymore. Luckily, not many people bullied me for my size but I can sense some of them trying to hint at it. This video truly inspired me, it makes me really want to retry ballet again! I used to work at a dance store where we sold leotards, tights, etc. We always accommodated everyone as best as possible. We serviced all sorts of people: skinny, big, young, old, girls, boys. I feel a place like that (a place of art) should be more open minded.

as a little girl it was my dream to be in the nutcracker. I kept dancing, and working hard. And my dream came true. As one of the main angels. It was amazing on the stage with thousands of people in the audience in the city. 💗 Edit: also after the girl got the part, the mean girl was the only one mad about it, and all the other girls were happy and amazed, like- 😭they can't be talking, they where laughing with her too 🤦🏼♀
