As a dancer can I just say that the perfect point toe pads are so good! I used to have to literally prepare my feet for war. Now I use those with no toe tape. It’s incredible.

I like ur comment about the future of pointe shoes. And I think it’s great that you’ve found a way that allows u to go thru fewer pairs of shoes. I think going thru them as fast as 5 pair/week, is kind of a problem...creating a lot of waste. And you’re 100% right, maybe there’s room for some more innovation in the world of pointe shoes.

No there is no (wooden) box! How would that even work? (I edited this because, yes, the toe part of the shoe is called the box, and it is technically a box, just a box made of glue and paper and fabric, not wood like some people think.)
