So sorry this one is late! It was filmed in December 2021, but holidays, life and work got in the way! Now that we've passed January 2022, it's actually been FOUR years since Chim and I started our Twitter account - come check us out at / jiminuncut
Please let me know what dance practice, performance or fancam you'd like me to react to next! :)
Original dance practice video here: • [BANGTAN BOMB] 'WINGS'...

So appreciate a true dancer’s point of view on Jimins movements. He is a gift in all respects💯. How he brings different styles of dance together is nothing short of remarkable 🔥🥰. I love & respect BTS but I sometimes wish Jimin had chosen a solo career. His talent is “ once in a lifetime”❣️. Wish BTS would feature Jimin more & truly respect his incredible talent!!!!

This was really really informative. I’m not a dancer…..but is have always noticed his turn out……even when they are simply standing for interviews….it’s quite impressive and I’m so glad you think so because nobody was talking about it. I find him simply mezmorizing…..he’s a beautiful dancer, performer, and a gorgeous man….blessed beyond words💜

Hehehehe sometimes I have to STOP myself from talking about his turnout because I feel like people must be sick of hearing me go on about it. But when it's RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE, I can't just ignore it! It's so...GLORIOUS. I WISH I had hip flexibility like that haha. Flexibility in general has always been one of my weaknesses so I always admire it in others.

@@jiminuncut1234 Never stop praising Jimin's turnout, I love it when you do💜. I found you on twitter and was fascinated as a non-dancer, to read the reasons why Jimin's dance was so alluring to watch! I never thought to check if you had a KZfaq account. I only found it today and was so happy I binged 3. Not sure if you could do a you tube Boy Meets Evil explanation where Jimin is blindfolded. I find it incredible that he can spin so many times and stop facing forward! Just love to watch him dance! Thank you for breaking down the magic of Jimin!

I cannot tell you how ECSTATIC I AM TO HAVE FOUND YOUR CHANNEL! This song is especially special to me as it was Jimin's live performance of LIE that brought me to BTS. His live performance of LIE was pushed to me by KZfaq while I was recovering from COVID. Watching his dancing and listening to his vocals made me obsessed about finding out who he is. (And BOOM, down the BTS hole I went). KZfaq pushed the video because I watch a lot of dance videos. I cannot dance worth a dang and envy all those who can...but, I cannot help but torture myself by watching dance videos. I just LOVE JIMIN. Learning that he wrote the song just made me fall more in love with him. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen Jimin's solo live performances, especially LIE & Serendipity. Also, his behind the scenes Solo for Black Swan. Black Swan is my favorite BTS song, not only because of the choreography, but the music and message behind it. I can't imagine him almost not making it into BTS BECAUSE of his dancing...(which was said to not be up to par...). BTS almost lost him around 8 times, I think. Please don't quote me, as it's been awhile since I saw the video discussing this. I really love how you appreciate Jimin's dancing. I appreciate it too, but it doesn't mean much coming from me bec I don't know anything about dance; I just know what I like. I can't wait to delve into your other videos...However, I am going to take my time and not binge watch. This will give me some new content to watch for a long time. I look forward to watching all of your videos. Thank you so much for doing this on Jimin. I do love the other members, but Jimin just hits me differently; his contemporary background is what I am drawn to, I guess. I wish I had 1/1000th of BTS's dance skills/talent. Keep the videos coming. Again, thank you.

I always think with this choreo he uses the extreme turnout to make the whole thing feel off balance, as if he could fall at any moment. Gives it a very off kilter feel which just isn't found in the covers of the dance. Just found you on Twitter

I'm so happy to hear that! I never used to think my knowledge of dance was that special - since I grew up in that environment and learned it like any other skill, it somehow just seemed natural and I thought everyone could see what I could. It took me many years and actually watching other dance shows or performances with non-dancer friends to realize it's not universal knowledge and not everyone focuses on what I focus on when I watch dancers. When I came into the fandom, it was so fun to share what I see in Jimin's dancing with others - especially to explain why what he does is so difficult, even though he makes it look so easy!!

Thank you so much for uploading another analyses. However many you end up managing to do I will greatly appreciate every single one! :) the fact you decided to make videos on top of the twitter page is so so awesome and the extra effort and time is certainly appreciated greatly. I'm so glad they decided to release this bangtan bomb as there was so much in this that didn't get showcased in the short clips shown in the proper made video etc. It's so close up and you can really appreciate some incredible moments here with all the bright lighting too that kind of get hidden a little bit on stages too. Thanks again for another great video. And tbh I would've been fine with you watching the whole thing on slow speed haha.

You're so kind!! It can be a bit of challenge to keep up with everything at times, on top of a full-time job, a social life (definitely tamer in the pandemic!) and other personal goals. But I truly do love doing these analyses so I make a point of finding the time when I can! :) Figuring out new technology is fun too - Jimin is responsible for so much of my modern digital knowledge hahaha. And YES - I need the best camerawork possible to do proper analyses and see everything that's going on. Head to toe! Multiple angles if possible! Give me everything! And hehe watching on slow speed is critical too. ^_~
@BexREB
@BexREB 2 жыл бұрын
@@jiminuncut1234 I always end up looking for multiple angles on the fancams haha. For so many of the dances I think I've spotted every variation, every different interpretation and then I'll see a different performance or angle of a performance and bam yet another extra bit of wonderful ha. Yeah I totally get that these are very clearly a labour of love, as is the twitter etc, cause it is clearly a lot of work to both find the clips that you can actually use but also to figure out which specific part you want to focus on considering how much there is in all of their performances ha. Anyway, thank you ever so much and I'm just very grateful you decided to make your guys' twitter but also to do these vids is so brilliant. I love dance, but due to some disability issues kicking in that really limited my options I had to stop dancing shortly after I'd finally started when I was a lot younger. We had very little money growing up so I only started at like 11, was able to do a year on scholarship (not a prestigious thing, just a local one for singing and dancing) but then my disability stuff got bad enough that i couldn't keep up with what they needed from me to renew the scholarship etc. So I continue to live vicariously through others dancing and performing :). And I really enjoy these longer form videos too so I was so excited when I saw you were starting the video side of things ha. Long comment later, essentially just sums up to: thanks and I really love your breakdowns ha.

@@BexREB Aw, I'm so sorry you faced those barriers to doing what you loved! Once I moved out on my own, I definitely felt how expensive dance - and in particular, ballet - could be. I could only afford classes here and there and took breaks at other times. I'm in a better place to afford it now, but I definitely understand the financial struggle. Ballet, skiing and skating I think are some of the more expensive sports to pursue. Injuries and disabilities are such downers too. I tore my ACL in grade 11 and that really halted a lot of my progress. My knee's still not the same now and I managed to injure it again a couple years ago. Most of the time, it's okay, but I definitely have to be careful. I'm glad you are able to still live vicariously through others dancing - finding a performer that really captures your attention and touches your heart is so invaluable.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment! And don't worry - you haven't missed much! This channel is very very new lol. We've been asked for a couple years now to start one, but we were so busy before and I have so very few editing skills hahaha. But I'm learning! It's fun to bring the analyses to a new platform - especially for older dances that I love but I haven't made threads for. I think I prefer to do choreo analyses this way because I can break down every little movement - twitter limits me to 25 tweets in a pre-made thread so sometimes I have to pick and choose what to talk about. But I prefer doing technique analyses in threads because then I can pull examples from many different dances! :) And thank you for the compliment! ^_^ I love hairstyling, fashion and make-up so I'm always changing up my style!

If you connect the choreo to the music, the part that you call "wild abandon" and "release" (caught in a lie) is the switch from a foreboding minor key to a brighter major key. It's an interesting choice to make that part a major key -- like the music itself is lying.
