As a pianist ‘anything in adagio’ is a relief, but when your whole body is poised and balancing it must be extremely challenging! 😅

@@jilewayep. As a pianist and cellist, adagio is so much better 😭 my fingers hurt too much in allegro (or god forbid my music says “presto” ☠️)

It makes me feel so much better as an adult (now non-dancer) to hear these great dancers also hate pirouettes. As a kid I wasnt good at them and felt like I couldn't be a great dancer because I hated them. But as an adult, my kid heart is happy to know even some great dancers hate doing them.

The young girl that didn’t like turns from grand plié in 5th make sure you put your heels down before you start the turn. I hated fouettés turns and fouettés jumps. 😊

If the dancers focus on that move which they dislike the most, they will become excellent dancers. They will of course do their favorite move anyway.
