Absolute perfection. It's the emotion you capture. A brief fleeting look at the artistry of the human body, now immortalized. You can almost feel the freedom and joy in their hearts from dancing in a single picture. Not easy but you make it look effortless. Breathtaking!

I was under the assumption that the movement implicit in falling was purposeful to add drama to the photo. The dancers can obviously stay en pointe if she had wanted that, but the fall makes the fabric move more dramatically. I mean, it’s art.

People who say that don’t understand how hard these dancers work and how they do it. Being on pointe is hard bc there is a wood in the shoe and if you roll your ankle you will be injured really bad
