Michael I love your designs! Simple but impressive line designs. And your tutorials are concise and easy to understand.

I did this one for the first time at the last carnival I did. Usually I am making swords non stop but once they saw this few people were interested in the swords. It was hilarious seeing all the kids with these. They figured out that the young ones could stretch the 'string' and wear it on their back. Way fun! Thanks!

Thanks Michael! I just made a couple of these for some kids in my neighborhood and they loved it. A tip I learned was to make sure the pull string is completely deflated and then flatten it out. This makes it way easier to fit the arrow to it!

Love the bow. Also thank you for all your videos. When i first started out, your videos were my main inspiration. My son wanted me to learn balloon twisting just before his last surgery, not only did watching you help keep my mind off the wait, but also helped me learn an awesome hobby. My son has been surgery free for 3 years now, and thanks to you, we now have something we work on together that we both enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent

Not sure what all the love in the comments is about. I genuinely couldn't get this design to actually function. I enjoyed the magic trick at the end though. Personally, I find just using 1 balloon as the bow and string works much better. Just spin a row of bubbles and then tie it to the end of the balloon. Fitting a balloon-arrow to a bunch of twisted bubbles is a lot easier than a deflated balloon.

like it!! thanks for the instructions. Easy to follow. I do notice though that whether you say to inflate 1/2 way or 2/3 they all look about 90% inflated to me. Does 1/2 way mean 1/2 the length inflated?

If you leave a few inches of uninflated balloon at the tip of the "arrow", it provides weight and it really goes far! Much farther than without it, I've found. Also, if you put two small pinch twists on the back of the arrow and put the knot or mouth of the balloon between the pinch twists, the "string" of the bow fits nicely and makes it MUCH easier to shoot. Much like the notch in a real arrow.

Sometimes when you make 2 one inch pinch twists, you make two separate one inch bubbles and pinch twists them separately. Other times you make two one inch bubbles and then run the inflated balloon between the two bubbles effectively pinch twisting them. Why do you two different ways if they do the same thing? Or is there specific times to use either technique? This isn't sarcasm I'm legitimateltly asking.

Very nice bow and arrow! And very funny one-balloon one :) The fancy one looks very nice, but I'll stick with the three balloon (two for the bow, one for the arrow) method. I have to turn out such a high volume of balloons for parties, and the kids are pretty happy with the simple one. This would be more for if you didn't have a time crunch or if you were working for tips. Thanks!
