SUD (France) and BAC (Great Britain) companies built the Concorde in a joint effort. British Airways and Air France were the airlines that operated them.

The "SST" on the playfield stands for Super Sonic Transport.

@@LyonsArcade SST was the name of the American project, the Boeing 2707, but the funding from Congress was cancelled in 1971. The Soviets pretty much stole the Franco-British design with the Tupolev TU-144 also known as the Concordsky. I think there are still 3 Concordes in the USA, 1 in NYC on the USS Intrepid museum, 1 at the Smithsonian in DC, and 1 in Seattle flight museum

Used to have one of these as well, Mata Hari and Supersonic, great combo! My best on this one was 994,000, I got it that high and tilted it so that I would NOT roll over to 0! Great Game!

Wish I still had this machine in my house, the ONLY thing I had to do to mine was put a white rubber(the pinball kind) behind the center target, the post was weak and would bend backwards and the ball would pop the glass ALOT. My oldest son(now 18) started play pinball on Supersonic at the age of 3, he didn't like the Mata Hari machine that I had.

Yeah those standups you hit straight on do that all the time. Lots of games with that problem...

Someone that has this machine told me that the name tag on the pilot's uniform top is the actual name of the artist.

22:00 My boss ran two pinballs in one of "my" cinemas, think those were Terminator and Twister. The Terminator (2?) from around 1991 had the pistol handle shooter, and would always shoot at roughly equal power. No skillshot there I think. Twister (about 1996 IIRC) made this freakin' scary loud clap occasionally when counting the final score, mechanical, different from any sound effect. Must have been the knocker then. Did they really use it that late?

Yes they used Knockers all the way up to modern day, some games still have them!

Going back and looking at some of your older videos, focusing on the ones about pinballs. You make a comment about the cabinets being done with "stencils" and muse that they could probably "knock one out in about 45 seconds." The cabinets (and playfields) were actually silk screened. Not too different from stencils, there's a screen for each color, but they weren't done with paints - rather with printers' inks. I was going to bring this up on another video where you were touching up worn spots on a playfield. You could do a better job of color matching if you got ahold of a PMS (Pantone Matching System) swatch book. A new book can be pretty expensive but get ahold of your printer friend who makes your note pads (Minge?) and see if they have an old one they'd be willing to share. Printers are supposed to get new ones every few years because the colors fade some, but they'll be close enough for matching the colors on a pinball. You could also see if your printer friend would be willing to mix up the actual inks for you to do your touch ups, though it wouldn't take very much in most cases.

The cabinets were not silkscreened, they were stenciled, there's overspray all over it. The playfields were of course silk screened.
