Played it two years ago in horrific conditions. Pouring rain, much higher winds than this, and loved every minute of it. Caddies had us aiming over the sea on 11 and letting the wind bring it back. Was just happy to be in play on that hole!

Hi Mark love your site have watched every round of golf you play for years BUT !! Why don’t you tell us how much it is for a round as I get exited how fantastic the courses are looking forward to possibly playing them one day only to find out the last course you played is £280 per round and this course is £200 per round ! I do hope you realise the average golfer could never afford that sort of cost ! Would love to get a reply Keep up the good work your by far the best blog on KZfaq Many thanks Neil Parker

My understanding is most of his course vlogs are to highlight courses that are available for packages through mygolftravel. So while they're often out of the walk-on price range, they're meant to showcase the sorts of places you could put together a buddies trip with.

He isn’t doing a course review though, it’s a video of friends playing for us to watch as entertainment so why would that even come up in their conversation? (It really shouldn’t either) I doubt you rack up to the first tee with three mates and start the conversation “morning boys, so this place is £xx a round, just so we all know” Ultimately it probably took you less than 5 mins to find out the info and you then make your decision whether that’s something you’d go play or not - no hardship at all and definitely not Mark’s responsibility to tell you......IMO of course

Yeah, the inspiration that they give to play anywhere, I think, is a lot of it. You should watch the your golf travel videos that Rory does too though, because some of the packages they offer, while not cheap, get you in incredible rooms, and might have you playing three of these courses in two days. It’s really something

Played there a couple of times and its just scarily difficult. If you hit it offline you can be playing shots 50ft up a dune. Shame its got so expensive.

I think you guys like Ireland, your in beanies and waterproofs, with windy, chilly conditions yet barely a grumble even with run offs and bad lies that on other tours lead to head offs.

Amazing how quiet the handicap police have been recently on these videos now that Ray has started playing some decent golf. Far fewer people congratulating him than were slamming him at every opportunity not that long ago. They are probably all off train spotting or something similar. #damnedifyoudo #damnedifyoudont

Played here at the start of the summer in the scratch cup, stroke play off the same tees and the rough just off the fairway where ye are playing from was 1 to 2 feet deep, spent the day looking for balls and hacking out when not far off fairway, whole 3 ball NR'd overall over 40 people NR'd. Very disappointing experience, it's a hard enough course, hopefully they won't do the same next year, looking forward to going back

We fill and or replace and at some courses we play they ask you to do neither as they do it themselves 👍👍

Ah Ray. The gift that keeps on giving. Any time he spawns 2 holes in a row together, and starts getting chippy, he follows it with a double blooper. His driver is, indeed, becoming a "weapon". Anyone else notice how encouraging MC has been to Ray after he publicly c@nted him out for not announcing his shots? Lol.

Disappointing vlogs. 9th green and 11th fairway are one of the maddest you could come across. Watch people day in day out caddying struggle there. That 11th is Tom Watson’s favorite hole in golf and not even shown on here. Disappointed 👎🏼

@@jamiehannan5362 I'll be honest I was expecting the course to be much better considering its reputation but bare fairways, non-descript views, I think I'd play Tralee any day of the week before this. In fact there are some 20 euro courses in Ireland, North and South, that rival this course.
