There is no alternative to this. Climate change will make things worse. also our intensive use of meadows and fields. There is no more life there. Just dead soil full of fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides and fungicide contaminated soil. A lack of rain exacerbates the situation because the toxic concentration in the water is too high. many farms dump their toxic dirt into ditches and rivers.

According to the data of the Nature Protection Board and "Sadales tīkls" (ST), more than 8,000 stork nests have been registered in the supports of overhead power lines in recent years. Approximately 70% of Latvia's white stork population lives in the ST infrastructure. Therefore, the care of the white stork is one of the social responsibility priorities of JSC "Sadales tīkls".
