This is so much fun. Your wife´s reaction is so real and awesome. I just love how small fish (pan or bait) is absolutely a great day of fun and yummy family time! More, please :)))

Another great video. Hey Kortney, try a small tee spoon for removing those seeds and ribs from those jalapeños. Great looking ceviche

I don't usually watch your videos through the cooking part because I'm not much of a cook, but I did this time for some reason. I'm glad I did. Ceviche is on the menu now!

Great video! I'm not a raw onion fan, but it's a must in ceviche and guacamole. I squeeze lime juice in a bowl and add the onions, leave for 15 to 20 minutes, then use them in my recipes. My family, who are also not raw onion fans, will eat my guacamole every time.

Great video. Saw a tip this morning from a fellow KZfaqr. Soak your sliced red onions in cold water for 20 minutes or more, and that helps eliminate some of the "harsh" flavor. Might be worth a shot!

Just found your channel....got a link to that beach cart? I see in past videos you had the Fishin’ Mate Beach Cart Sr in a 2019 video. Is this a modified version of that? or different? Ok found it....deerfield custom....got it! Nice set up

Anyone know the difference on the Lil Bummy vs.the Dagger 8.5 for these light lines and throwing out lures? Preferences? I've seen both on the channel.

soak the onion separately in lemon juice and salt...it really takes the edge of the Bermuda onion. then add it to the mix...the onion ends up much sweeter.

I really enjoy watching you fish and am jealous of the number of species you have to choose from. Up here in NH we just don't have that many to fish for in saltwater. A hint when it comes to your onion overpowering your ceviche, switch to shallots. They are more mild and delicate. They do kind of have their own flavor but they are very much interchangeable with onions. If you try them let me know what you think. I'm betting you love them as I do. --dennis

I've been a lifelong fisherman freshwater only being landlocked in Oklahoma and I don't care much for the taste of fish, but have done the obligatory catfish fillet or crappie fry...but you folks made me HUNGRY with this one.

Matt, I don’t think I missed anything but wanted to ask. You add lemon and lime juice to the whiting and just put it in the refrigerator for two hours? Their is no frying the fish correct?

I’m from Massachusetts and live in Florida now so I’m trying to learn how to catch different fish species here but these videos show you guys mostly catching bait fish from shore. Up north we don’t bother with fish that size. Why don’t you guys want to go for big fish?
@BamaBeachBum5 ай бұрын
Time of year. We don’t have the big redfish, trout, jack crevalle, spanish mackerel, or pompano around. If you check out my videos from spring, summer, and fall you’ll see plenty of big fish.

Love this video, BB. Hope y'all don't mind the nickname. Also, love the recipe. Your family is great. I find your Bride vey "sensual". I mean nothing , but good when I say that. Sensual, in my opinion is a big step above sexy. No worries, I am almost 70. I appreciate a good woman. Believe me, they are in short supply. Anyway, y'all do a great job and, for all intents and purposes, seem to be very real. Thank you so much. And, of course, you also are doing a fantastic job with Kellon( ? spelling). Thanks, again.
