Sims and Coop were cookin' in this one, man. Sims had an Alabama record 484 total yards (445 pass, 39 rush) with 4 tds and Coop had 10 catches for 201 yds 3 tds

Sims was a truly under-rated Quarter back...

we sure were passing a lot for a team who had TJ Yeldon, Kenyan Drake, Derrick Henry, Blake Sims and even Amari Cooper. It worked though

Alabama and Ohio State were probably pretty even during this season looking back on it, both very good but hardly invinsible. Alabama was good enough, but also a little mistake prone as some of the turnovers and penalties here indicate. Alabama was lucky to get past an extremely mediocre Arkansas if I remember correctly, at the same time as is typical of Saban Era teams there was the talent on the right day to win against anyone that year. Can't fault Ohio State they took the head to head opportunity when it came.
