It is not really difficult to understand. You fall in love, the person tries to control you, you break free. The devil is symbolic representation of someone you think is bad, probably because they done something harmful to you. The end is some sort of revenge. You cause some pain back to this devil you loved. We all do this in relationships we have normally. Even moving on from an individual will cause harm to them in some level. It just beautifully dressed in a gothic style.

In all actuality Bambie is a Pagan. There is a difference between Paganism and Satanism, Paganism has a deep connection with nature and Satanism highlights the darker aspects of Christianity and in all actuality teaches some rather introspective things. They knows what they're doing and tbh for a country like Ireland to be doing this is major because before Catholicism Paganism was the main religion. The symbols they're wearing are runes and the one on their forehead is a celtic pagan symbol meant to represent the triple goddess The Maiden, The Mother and The Crone! Hope that helps.

No one knows what the pre-Christian beliefs of Ireland were with any certainty. We can only speculate based on mythology and archaeology. Paganism is modern - inspired by the past - but still modern.

As a child I always watched the show with my parents; it was always a big event for me. Now the show has changed massively. It's no longer about who has the best song, but who provokes the most. I like horror stories and horror films, but this performance is not for a general audience. Would anyone let their 10 year old child see a horror movie? hopefully not! Bambie is Giving Maleficent Realness! This is so cinematic! Bambie's conjuring the monster-boyfriend, then dispelling the monster at the end. The use of lighting changes to change what Bambie and the monster-boyfriend look like just adds to the whole story. BTW: You think this is just screaming? You try doing this without damaging your vocal chords. It's also a way of hitting really low-notes.

Not a family show anymore. Very young kids be pooing their pants.its not what id want my young kids watching anymore, as its beyond family innocence nowadays. All for shock value , Eurovision are as blatantly complicit in the controversy ,as are pop stars , rappers etc everywhere with their dark themes , Theyre all doing it now. You can think its art, or challenging boundaries all you like, and stick up for it as some kind of youthful expression . But, it is just not how the contests was and over recent times has evolved into something that really has a deliberate warped vibe about it . Ive seen it happen gradually to this point. Accept it readily ,just as i did. As art and graphics for the sake of it, once upon a time , Then regret how, i ignored how it has gradually morphed into this , pushing of the purposeful , underhanded promotion of evilness. Once you see ,that yourselves ,you cant unsee what Eurovision, the music business and film industry are actually no longer afraid to promote. . Crass
