But there are so many other cultures and countries that are completely unaware of 'NB' and now, I've legit seen people complimenting Bambie and Nemo online and instantly getting bullied by strangers for not using corrects words that they've never heard before or know how to use. And then it quickly becomes super toxic when these same people are asked to apologize and repent for something they don't even comprehend as an 'offense' in the first place...

@@nemir6872 Yes, it's unfortunate. It's always a rough start when new & unfamiliar cultures are being shared, but we have to start somewhere. I hope queers and allies can give more grace and patience to those genuinely open to learning. And for outsiders, to also understand that the queers and allies are "on the defense" all the time because they are always under attack. Just need empathy from both sides.

@@abismith5668 what’s on her ID is irrelevant as is whether or not her country allows a third gender on IDs - and sadly, Ireland does (see below for list of countries that do); there is STILL no such thing as either a third gender or a singular “they.” And you know this. EVERYONE knows this deep down and that this umpteen bajillion genders (whether they’re recognized by law or not) is a FAD/TREND for ATTENTION. Most ppl who claim to be “non-binary” are doing so bc developing a personality & character is too much work. Whether or not I like her personality is also irrelevant bc at least she does, in fact, have a personality. That’s more than I can say for a lot of ppl her age who are lazy & latch on to whatever the latest fad is for attention. Again, whether or not I like her, her style & music (not a fan) is irrelevant. She’s obviously very driven and a hard worker so I respect her for that. 🫡 I’ll post the countries that recognize a third gender after I find my charger. 🔌🪫 😂
