they were singing Alamid's music not Bamboo's music, and the original singer of the OPM band Alamid was Gary Ignacio (guy with the hat) and his version is still the best.

You would've never guessed he was terminally ill from the power and soul of his voice. I'll forever miss your voice, man. There's also something so humbling about these 90s musicians that's so rare in musicians nowadays. I saw his very modest home on TV and thought that the Philippine music industry should really start looking after their music artists. Mga pabaya!
