😮 Superb video learned so much things about bamboo treatment . But I have doubt about chemical mixture you mention borax & boric 25g to 10 liters of water is it correct ..or 25g from each with 10 liters of water...or is there any mixture

you forgot to include making holes though the whole length of the bamboo so the borax water mixture can enter the complete length of the bamboo pole

I'm guessing soaking it would permeate throughout the whole length of the pole.

@@jimmybelue9658 that is the purpose. otherwise, it only permeates a very small portion. it is standard practice. then you just let it drain out as you stand the poles up in an empty container to recover the liquid

After treatment, we stack the bamboo culms against a tall rack to bleach them in the sun, turning every two days to avoid cracking. Then store horizontally above ground under cover for up to two months to dry. After this they are ready to use. This is the method we use at Tesoro Verde in Panama. Good luck. 👍
