Electric motors are inherently far more efficient then fossil fuel powered engines. They use most of the received energy while in fossil fuel powered engines, a lot of energy gets wasted in the form of heat. Also, fossil fuel powered cars are like individual tiny power plants on their own. A large centralised power plant even if running on coal, is finally resulting in more efficient production of energy in comparison to hundreds of tiny power plants i.e fossil fuel powered engines in vehicles. Most important thing is that Electric vehicles are Zero Emissions. The generation of electricity used to charge their batteries cannot be considered when comparing to fossil fuel powered cars. When emissions from fossil fuel powered cars are calculated, do we consider the energy required to drill, refine and transport the fossil fuel or only the emissions coming from the car? The answer is only the emissions from the tailpipe.

Thanks for information shared through the video. I wanted to know if the ban includes all those Diesel vehicles which have already been registered for 15 years before the initial ban in 2015. (For example a diesel engine driven car registered in 2014 uptil 2029 by the RTO gets spared through the ban and that the ban only covers diesel cars registered after 2015.?

if this will happen in real that would be a disaster..... many common people will lose their cars which is bought by their hard earn money , many people who have diesel cars around 10 to 12 years have not drove much yet , and diesel cars are more expensive than petrol cars... govt. could put this rules on commercial vehicle ..... but they put it on everybody ...its not fare

After BS6, vehicles don't pollute so much as they do now. Govt rethink about ban and they likely to extend the ban 20yrs on diesel and 25yrs on petrol vehicles.

Electric car are costly. Indian cant afford that mauch cost. Good electric car above Rs 20 lac that why not interested. Also india roads and electricity not good. Electricity not sufficient for homw uses in that condition where we get that much electricity

I have few questions about electric cars... 1.first of all the electric car takes to much time to charge full and if suppose an electric car has a range of 300km and if I have to go 600km what I will do??? Will I stand in the middle of the highway and charged the car for prolonged time?? And at this time I think only Tesla provide turbo charger which would take min. 30 min to car the car...but entry level car will not get that feature.... 2.in India there are very few charging station....so without fixing that issue how they are trying to implement electric car ??

People don't drive 600km continuously without taking a break. They can put the car for charging during break time. Fast chargers will be common in the future.

friends, do not worry , electric vehicle will not be successful in India, last 15 years India has not provide CNG to all the country.limited CNG in few cities, how it is possible to provide charging centre in whole India. electric car are costly and only rich countries can afford good electric cars. in India petrol and diesel car will continue. only few individuals who want to run their car below 60 km/hour will purchase e car. do not panic, purchase petrol/ diesel car thanks

K K mobile and automobile are two totally different industry. do not compare them. last 10 years mobile prices has come down but last 10 years car prices are going up. setting up charging point in such a vast country like india is very expensive task.india can not afford this till 2030. may be we will have all electric car near 2050. thanks

Girish Ohri Mahindra e2o has a top speed of 80km per hour. Besides, what you are not noticing is that electric cars can be charged at home unlike petrol/diesel cars which can be filled up only at fuel pumps. So all will charge their electric cars at home just like their mobile phones. Your house will be your charging station! Only long distance travellers will need public charging stations.

Sir main bulandshahr(up)se hun jo ki ncr main aata hai,maine abhi apni 2011 model verna 1.6 diesel base model sale kari hai only 280000 rs main is hi vajha se ,kya maine sahi decision liya ,ya jaldvaaji main galti kr di?

Gagan ji video bhot asha hai.mujhey bataein mere paas swift VDI 2012 nov hai.RC per likha hai, REG UPTO NOV 2027.Car cab tak chala saktein hain.car driven 30000 km.

Euro6 diesels are ready The main difference is EGR system And particulate filter system in exhaust

Sirji car ke tyre pressure ke liye konsa pump acha ha foot pump ya electric pump. Is per kuch clear kare yeh aajkal imp accessories me aata ha.
