Banana Island is a small island in Qatar. Its territory is crescent-shaped (like a banana) and is located off coast of the capital city of Doha. It is a natural island in the Persian Gulf. Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara was built there. The island covers 13 hectares and has its own marina and reefs.
The island is a 20-minute luxury ferry ride from the Shyoukh Port, located at the corniche opposite to the Souq Waqif, Doha. Banana Island Resort features 800-metre private beach, Anantara Spa, 9 dining options and a lagoon pool.
