If only. Terry Pats, plain view, contraband identification, and maintenance of restraints during detainment have only broadened in scope and definition. They, by the letter of the law, did nothing wrong. During a Terry pat any object big enough to conceal even a saftey razor balde can be physically and visually examined, even each and every part of a wallet. It's already been taken to court that an officer can remove a phone and examine it to make sure it's not a false container of a weapon. They can't check its functionality or try to unlock it, BUT if the screen truns on from incidental contact (not a deliberate button push or screen tap) then whatever information that may be gleamed (like texts, calls or names) is admissible, because it's your responsibility to ensure your phones screen actives from only intentional manipulation. Aka in your settings set display to "always off" and turn off all messages previews. They can also use restraints indefinitely during a detention if they have an observable risk of flight or violence. An established history of violence during detentions counts as observable. Or they can just b.s. and say his fist were clenching, eyes darting towards paths of escape or constantly using language to raise the level of tension and aggression.

@@kimdontcare244 He says on his streams that it was just TOO silly, and it fealt less like RP and more like a race to see who could kill each other the fastest. As well as the Cop RP specifically feeling extremely boring and repetitive, as well as most people being extremely hostile to cops. So mainly the servers culture as a whole.
