I like the start, but right after left me kinda confused. Like not to hate on BSJ but it isn't 2015 anymore. I started in crusader 4 and just now hit ancient as a support main over the last year and a half or so. I'm not gonna say crusaders/archon players are good.. but MOST of them know about equilibrium and will hold aggro out of tower range if they are not being pressured for it. Also pulling, creep aggro back to ranged, dead lane and etc are concepts MOST 2-3kish people know now. Having experienced the climb from 1.8k -4.3k I can tell you most people do know it now a days. Obviously it's not executed perfect or they would be higher, but these kind of concepts are general knowledge now.

This is my favorite coaching video so far cuz it addresses most of the gaps I have in my gameplay altho I'm probably not as good as this coachee was, but I do similar things that he does

Hey BSJ, what do you mean when you say CS Trainer? Is there an unofficial custom game for practicing CS or do you mean just go in Demo Hero and practice on waves?

Can’t use abilities in actual CS training, custom games instead?

I have an issue, I cant use CS trainer because when I play ranked I have to play at 180ms on EU server because my country does not have ranked servers. So my cs trainer with 0ms and my in game 180ms does not match. Do you have any advice for me? My cs does need a lot of work

What is the last hit trainer you are talking about? Is it an arcade modE?

Medusa and to an extent Drow are also useless as fuck. You can kinda fake some fights with cheaper items on Drow in MoM and dragon lance, but not so much with medusa

How do you identify that a hero is a win condition? During your Drow guide you said Drow is not a win condition,you shouldn't pick her if your team doesn't have one yet. Puck also not a win condition.

Knew it would be a PA. PA is such a shit pub hero - everyone playing 1v9 and PA is one of the worst heroes for holding lane. Basically no escape, requires 20 minutes of farm to get core critical items, and needs team to help make stacks/defend her from ganks. ie. the WORST possible carry hero to pick in a pub And of course, lane is vs Mars, basically the strongest offlane hero in the game right now. This pudge + Mars combo could just run at PA the entire laning phase and bully her out. At this MMR there is no counterplay due to lack of teamwork and the minimum level of skill required from that offlane combination to rape squishy heroes like PA and snap.

Can you stop making everyone so good BSJ please it used to be so easy to grind MMR. I blame you!

I honestly am thinking of quitting dota. I recently started watching some of your videos and then I implemented them in my games and i was on a 9 winning streak only playing PA and AM, i then started playing vs smurfs and having snipers in my game that are literally 0-5 in mid at 9 minutes and it upsets me so much because there is nothing I can do as a pos 1 when the enemy pos 1 is hella fat from kills and their mid as well. I don't see the point in playing anymore if the game can clearly see that I am playing well for my rank but then it outs these morons in my game. And to top it all off I am from South Africa and the closest rank server is EU so I have minimum 200 ping each game which is fine as you get used to a bit of delay

BSJ, you’re a bit out of touch and far underestimating 2k. 2k players know how to hold the creeps outside of tower range and to manage lane equilibrium. Not all, but many. No, what defines 2k players is people not understanding that they can’t outfarm an opposing team if the opposing team has harder carries, like a Medusa, and eventually losing to her. That and a lack of smoke usage to continually gank the enemy carry.

I think “how not to carry” would be a better thumbnail xd

If you think like this as a carry for your support, they dont support you, dont save you. BSJ isnt telling sups are dogs, but people at this mmr thinks so. So please, also remind this game is a team game and be nice to your teammates. First, look for your own mistakes, then your teammates'.

I always max blur on pa, makes him very survivable against right clicker and allows him to jungle if needed, who cares about dagger honestly
