Mình có thiện cảm với bạn trong video, dù không phải xuất sắc trao chuốt, nói như gió như mấy anh chị làm video khác, có những lúc ậm ừ phải cần suy nghĩ, nhưng ai học TA đều từng như thế. Rất đồng cảm và muốn giỏi giống bạn.

@@HienPhan-yw1vb Mình không nghĩ đay là giả bạn. vì bạn trong clip co đôi chỗ nói chưa chuẩn grammar va đặc biệt là các sounds cuối các từ. Có thể là có đóng nhưng TA của bạn này cũng sẽ rơi vào tầm đó và có tập luyện trước.

Hello guys, I'm Hưng, the boy in this video. As you guys can see, my performance was not that good! Honestly, I did not follow through on my commitments and prepare carefully for the real test (i only spent 1-4hours per week). Therefore, I just got 6 in speaking :( Now I'm changing my study method by creating my own environment to practice English ( youtube, English club,...). I will take the test again in June and let's see how far I can go. I know that 1 month for preparation is too short but still wanna challenge myself. Tks for all advice from Mr. DATIO and you guys ( I' will read all comments) to improve. If you're struggling with this exam, then you should join Datio's class , I bet you will get improved. He's really kind and dedicated. Have a good day!!

Here is a little piece of advice to start with: talk to yourself in English. Do so at your own time or in your head eg. when you drive/walk/eat/before bedtime etc. More often than not people would juz say you need a study buddy so you can learn from someone with superior English but nah, you already have the foundation to recognise your own mistakes. You juz need to articulate your responses precisely and expand it accordingly, and that can be easily done by getting your mind familiar with a relatively long talk.

@@maxt4874 tks for your suggestion. Actually, I'm doing exactly what you just recommended. I am kinda person who always get nervous in some special events ( a test or interview), and therefore forget all things I'm about to say. When I practice at home, I can do so much better at controlling grammar and fluency. Although this is just a mock test, I know that I should have needed to calm down to perform well but I did not...

Video rất hay vì e thấy đúng với tầm band của mình ko bị ngộp như mấy vd band 8 or 9 mong anh ra nhiều vd band 6 hơn nữa vì cũng rất nhiều ng chỉ cần 6.0 để ra trg và có động lực để học hơn vì biết bản thân ở đâu và có thể đạt đc nó !

My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Những dạng video thế này rất hay, giúp ta có thể biết chính xác khả năng của mình ở band mấy. Nhưng anh Đạt cũng nên có một đoạn phân tích lỗi sai của học viên sau mỗi video

Actually, that question is not wrong at all. There are 2 kinds of water: still water and sparkling water. Still water is the normal water we drink everyday. Sparkling water is water that is infused with carbon dioxide gas. Sparkling water is not popular in Vietnam so I think the interviewee misunderstood the question :)

Mặc dù bạn thỉnh thoảng hơi bị bí ý tưởng và ngấp ngứng nhưng cách phát âm của bạn ý lại rất hay và dễ nghe, em nghĩ đó là điểm mạnh của bạn ấy. Tin rằng bạn ý chỉ cần luyện tập nhiều hơn là có thể đạt được band cao hơn

About the entertaining teacher style you should use this pharse: enliven by telling a joke or playing gameshow. In addition, you're able to ultilize "bring life to the classroom". You're capable to tap into those pharses to work out this kind of question and make your anwer more compelling. Good luck

Pe Gadethuong123 i just took the ietls speaking exam and there was a topic about speaking. The examimer asked what kind of things cannot be shared and i answered boyfriend. Both of us laughed. Will this help in pulling up the grade?

Sorry,let me tell you guys this, native English speakers don't speak slow and clear like ielts interviewers. So might fail at understanding them, if u don understand fully the questions, then u can't answer the questions right or goin off the subject. So practice listening with different voice, male or female ,Low pitch or hight pitch .Normal speed or fast speed , different accents might help improving your listening skill, I have lived in USA for 15 years , and to be sincere , both my speaking and listening are still pretty bad, I need to take class with teacher Datio lol

Well from my experience, I think that students usually feel bored with inflexible teaching methods, so they lose their concentration on lessons by doing another interesting things like playing games or talking with others. Threrefore, I think it is considered better if teachers have their own teaching styles to attract students' concentration on the lessons by combining game shows into the lessons, using visual art, having arguments about some problems involved in their lessons.

Nhiều lỗi sai quá bạn ei =)) Well from my experience, I think that students are usually tired of inflexible teaching methods, so they lose their focus during lessons and do other interesting things like playing games or talking with others. Therefore, I think it is considered to be better(hoặc I consider it better thì sẽ thông dụng hơn) if teachers implement their own style of teaching to draw students' attention to the lessons by adding mini games to the lessons, using visual art, discussing about problems involved with their lessons. Như thế này sẽ giống văn viết hơn bạn nhé ;)

Khuat Hoang Trung các bạn vẫn sử dụng quá nhiều redundant words và mắc các lỗi cơ bản như word choice, run-ons với paralelism khiến cho lối viết ko đc precise. Chỉ cần cắt bớt sẽ mượt hơn rất nhiều. Well, from my experience, students tend to get bored with rigorous teaching approach, which leads to the loss of focus on the lecture. Consequently, the students are prone to do other things of interest like playing games, or gossiping. Therefore, it is better that teachers devise a teaching technique that is able to grab their attention. A great example could be combining games, visual art or simply incorporating a debate session relating to the topic.

quite good pronunciation and quite clear expression overall. They are among most important aspects in communication. However, he needs to be more interesting to be higher in band score. Can't stand listening to him for 2 mins. Overall quite good.

Well I was lucky. I did 0 preparations for ielts and still got a band of 7.5 in speaking although I had nothing much to talk about during the TEST. The most important thing during a speaking test is to use correct grammar. My reading was the weakest with 6.5. Highest score was listening at 8.5. Overall band score of 7.5.

@@niktit9657 I did the computer delivered ielts test in Australia. Maybe familiarize yourself with different accents such as the Australian and British accent. The recordings are very clear and they speak very slowly lmao.

Phần 3 mình thấy chưa giống phần thi thật lắm. Vì khi mình thi thì kiểu như examiner hỏi xối xả, luôn cắt ngang và có nhiều câu hỏi nhỏ mở rộng, gắt hơn :)) bạn trong video mình trả lời khá tự tin, tuy chưa hoàn hảo nhừng mình nghĩ đây là video đáng xem để đánh giá bản thân. Thanks 😃

I used to hate history when i was in high school. But now, I have a feeling with researching history although I work as a nurse in a hospital and it is totally not related to my work. I feel ashamed if i know nothing about Vietnamese history.

I got 6 too. The examiner can’t stop looking at the timer and she seemed very uninterested in my answers so I got uninterested too. And I told her in the first part that I run a small business but she wasn’t prepared for that answer so she asked me her prepared questions about my colleagues and boss which are quite irrelevant

This is a good video, I thought ielts speaking is quite complicated than I expected. After this video I reinvigorated, because of he got 6.0 with plethora of mistakes. Thats good : )

His major problem I guess is that he has to translate ideas and thoughts from Vietnamese to English at first and simultaneously comes up with new ideas/supporting etc and so he lost the train of thoughts somewhere along the way. If only he knew how questions in part 3 are sequential (if I'm not wrong coz last time I sat on the test was 7 years ago) then he would be able to make a coherent, cohesive and convincing answer. Good thing is he has such a nice voice/tone to hear but really I didn't listen to him as the responses jiggled. But he's so cute when he broke down halfway LOL

Yes I agree, he needs to just understand it right away without needing to translate into Vietnamese, doing to that delayed his thoughts thats the reason why the way he answer those questions seems slow and quite uncomfortable.

Chủ đề trong bài này k quá khó. Em cũng thử tự mình trả lời. Em thấy anh trong video nói khá ok, dù từ vựng còn đơn giản. Nhưng xem xong video này em có thêm động lực để tự tin hơn rồi. Em có một câu hỏi là dù vốn từ vựng của em k quá ít nhưng mỗi khi nói em luôn thấy rất bí từ. Vậy ngoài cách tập sử dụng đúng những từ đó thì em có nên gạch ra trước những ý hoặc từ mình sẽ sử dụng khi luyện nói không? Cảm ơn rất nhiều ạ

Đúng rồi, biết từ đó nghĩa là gì là 1 chuyện, dùng được nó trong ngữ cảnh là 1 chuyện khác nữa :3 tui cũng đã từng bị như này, khi nhắn tin toàn dùng mấy từ đơn giản phát chán luôn. Và giờ tui cải thiện được vụ này 1 chút, bằng cách học từ vựng bằng tử điển OALD (từ điển cực nổi tiếng và tui đánh giá tốt nhất tui từng dùng), mỗi từ mới tui sẽ search trong này, học luôn cả cái ví dụ của nó để dùng từ đó được tốt hơn, tập cách thay thế từ vựng quen thuộc sẽ ngầu hơn. Ví dụ thay gì nói i am very hungry, tui nói i am absolutely ravenous. -I learned English to get good jobs, tui sẽ dùng kiểu ngầu hơn: ->I've made up my mind to dedicate my whole youth to studying English, with a view to obtaining a well-paid occupation

Man, I took the IELTS test few days ago, I shat myself during the speaking test. I had 3-4 pauses in part 2, however my part 3 was fine. I was so worry that I won't get a 6. But after watching this video, I finally have some hopes now
