Hello Dear Teacher, I have written my answer to the following question before seeing your tips and final sample answer. I think that there are certain areas in the answer wherein I could improve upon. I highly request anyone to skim through my answer and rate it fair. Answer: The following charts illustrate the amount of seafood being imported into America over a twenty-year period while making future predictions for the upcoming decade. In general, one can observe that the number of imports upsurged over the time wherein the South-Asian countries were the major contributors. In 2002, the total seafood being brought into the U.S was roughly above 5 which quadrupled itself in 2022, which is also the time when the total imports peaked in the United States Of America. Besides, the trend predicts a gradual decline with the total seafood being imported to be approximately below 20. In very simple words, the number nearly doubled from 2002 until 2022 followed by a down-surge in the later decade. Moving on, it is evident from the pie chart that the leading exporters of food from the oceans are namely China, Thailand and Canada having a share of 28,23 and 16 respectively with China being the largest exporter to the U.S. Furthermore, smaller countries such as Indonesia and Vietnam also add around 17 percent on the graph and are essential in American seafood market.

Hello! I just want to ask why you use volume of seafood imports when the unit of measure used is in billion US dollars? If it were me, I will use seafood importation spending (because we are talking of the cost) instead of using the volume which implies quantity (example in metric tons). This is for clarification only as I wanted to make it clear so I will understand better. Thank you.

The bar graph presents the overseas buying of seafood in United States of America starting from 2002 to 2022, further predicting for 2032, while the pie chart displays the overseas buying distribution based on countries origin specifically in 2022. Overall, the import consumption of seafood in US has been growing since 2002 to 2022. However, the forecast will project a slight decline a decade later, in 2032. The buying behavior geographically of 2022, US can be observed has highest demand to China, and comparatively has Thailand and Canada came in as second and third as the highest seafood suppliers. Fish consuming in USA was started to slightly above 5 billion USD in 2002, and has been increased until 2022, two decades later, which it has culminated its peak with over 20 billion USD. Despite of that, the prediction shown that 10 years later, in 2032 the demand of seafood will evidenced lower purchase, but will stand still above 15 billion USD. Moreover, if being observed to be more detailed of import activities in 2022, the most highest importer for USA nation demand in Seafood was China, which took 28% of total consumptions. Thailand came as the second highest supplier, which fulfilled the demand of 23% population, and followed by Canada (16%). USA was also imported from other countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Ecuador, which contributed less than 10% as seafood sources.
