Jazz Fest is very privileged to have them playing at their event.The Stones are the greatest rock band in the world 🌎. I know that Charlie Watts is smiling down on them 🎉🎉

Or possibly smiling up at them, I'm not sure Allah endorses rock n roll, devils music and all that

When Jagger makes a political jibe, he has (whether you agree with him or not) the balls to make it on his target's home turf. Another reason why he's a legend!!
@trevormcmullin42743 ай бұрын
Jagger is rich and elite and should shut his mouth politically. He’s not in touch with the reality of most people’s lives.

I was surprised. In 50 years of following the Stones this is the first time I remember any direct political statements. I guess when you get to be 80 and have traveled the globe multiple times, you might have some insights you want to share🤷♀️

Mick was right about the stupid gov

I don't want to hear singers doing politics or politicians doing singing, it's entertainment Sir Mick the billionaire, I'm guessing it must be a Republican Governer, all the same these rich elites, he's probably moving to Canada with Cher, Streisand and and Qhoopi again also.

That's Mick?? He's incredible! They all are!
@tristancarver7343 ай бұрын
It's always nice watching Mick introduce everyone because he's got a quick and charismatic sense of timing, with his humour. Still got that boyishness as if he's never grown up. But rock allows that😊. I think he'd be so fun at a party.

Great shot at the weird governor! Must be hard to get that from a legend like Mick Jagger.

The fest is a place of celebration and healing via music and culture. We leave our politics at the gate and love one another. Would be sad if the fest was turned into bands preaching their politics of all types from the stages

It wasn’t a joke really.. Louisiana has a new republican governor and he doesn’t like it ! It’s just ridiculous that he even had to go there!

Resent version of the Stones: Political Correctness. How sad and depressing.
@helgeolsen97273 ай бұрын
My God, I feel sorry for you😂
@calpurniabruchi57423 ай бұрын
What's sad and depressing is all the women who are going to die and lose their fertility and all the ob/gyns fleeing the State. And all the children being forced to give birth.
@andrespalacios11223 ай бұрын
@@calpurniabruchi5742 Women who are going to die and lose their fertility is not sad and depressing: it is a tragedy. Those of obstetricians and gynecologists who flee the State, is one of the many short visions of politics. But to say babies are "forced to be born"... more than political correctness, it is a spiritual illness.
@calpurniabruchi57423 ай бұрын
@@andrespalacios1122 it's all a tragedy. Forcing an 11 year old to give birth who was raped is a tragedy!
@andrespalacios11223 ай бұрын
@@calpurniabruchi5742 Yeap.!!! Agree 100%.!! But from there to establish, ideologize, and indoctrinate that the 'abortion industry' is something good and evolved... I'm afraid it's a long way off.

Why is 99% of show business a flaming liberal?
@calpurniabruchi57423 ай бұрын
Because talented and intelligent people tend to be liberal, because truth has a liberal bias. Smarter people can tell fact from fiction. Smart, talented people know what's a lie and what is a conspiracy. You're on the dumbass side of history
