The show was great. I was expecting Shambles since it was the final show of the US tour but after they mentioned the MV I was thinking maybe they wouldnt play it lol. Everyone was absolutely amazing. I agree, they spent a lot of time over here so Europe is in need of a tour now :)

This show in particular was incredible. So many great songs played. They really are amazing.

Hello my friend! Thank you so much! I think I was 5 or 6 rows back for this show. Last year in San Diego I was all the way up front. "from now on" is probably my favorite BAND-MAID song of all time. Kanami really captures a lot of emotion with the guitar. I feel like she replaces the missing Saiki vocals with her guitar. :) I hope to see more of your videos soon! I have not seen them in my feed for a while but I am glad you are doing well, its nice to hear from you! I will be visiting Japan in October! I am happy to resume my yearly visits to Japan! :)

Oh wow, you were behind me? Could you tell my arms felt like they were going to fall off from holding the phone up for so long lol 😂 The mic works very well, I got things dialed in pretty good after recording 5 or so shows over the past couple years. Glad you enjoyed it and I hope I wasnt blocking your view :)

@@Shreddawg I didn't notice, but I was curious how long before the screen was going to start shaking, ha! The camera did block my Misa view but to have this video capturing the duels, by all means set up the tripod, ha!

@@JESTERSFALLS LOL! Yeah I was surprised I could keep it so still myself. Well I am sorry I blocked your view a bit, thats never my goal :/ I guess I generally dont pay much attention to people behind me because I am not very tall so its usually not much of an issue. We were all packed in there pretty tight for this show though.

Thank you for the kind words! It was very difficult to capture since I am short and I was 5 or 6 rows back. I essentially held my phone over my head during every song. I had to take a break from recording during the omajinai time haha it was getting painful. I could hear MISA's bass perfectly where I was. I was surprised how balanced the sound was where I was. Often times if you are off to the side, its difficult to capture the instruments from the opposite side of the stage.

Having the chance to see RINNE live was incredible! I was not expecting that song!

The video was a bit difficult to capture from 5-6 rows back and it doesnt help that I am short lol. I did what I could from in the crowd haha. With every show I have attempted to record, the audio gets a bit better. I am happy to share the videos as long as the audio comes out good, even if the video is a bit sloppy at points. :)

Thank you so much! I upgraded my phone to try and capture better video but I was 5-6 rows back for this show so it was difficult. I am very happy with the audio, I have been working to make every show I record as good as possible! I will try and record the next show in 4K. I didnt want to risk missing this show if I attempted a 4K recording lol. I am happy a lot of people have enjoyed the video, it makes all the work worth it! I am happy to share what I was able to capture! I was hoping I would be closer than 5-6 rows back so I could capture better video but the audio came out pretty good so the footage was worth sharing. :)

Glad you enjoyed it. I agree too, I could not get Akane at all. She was always blocked by someone. I thought for sure there would be a solo during FREEDOM but that didnt happen >.> I was 5-6 rows back and between MISA/Miku so trying to capture her was a bit difficult. I could get glimpses of her during some of the solos but I had to try capture the solos.

It was a great show! I used a Galaxy S23 Ultra with a small USB-C microphone attached. I had just got the phone a few days before this show so the video was not as good as it should have been but the audio came out very good. Ive been using the same small USB-C mic for a couple years now so I got it dialed in pretty well!

I can only recognize people I have "officially met in person" ^^ Its pretty cool being able to meet so many people and in case you havent noticed, I do have a big mouth so chatting with people is awesome for me lol. I handed out a bunch of water as well. I always like to hand stuff out when its a local show since a lot of people travel quite a bit for the shows. Not to mention it was pretty hot that day so I brought I think around 20 cold water bottles in addition to the coffee which is a necessity lol.

Lollapalooza cameraman: "I hear this guitar duel, so let's focus on the singer sitting off to the side..."

The show was great! I am SO surprised they played it and with the Kanami/MISA battle, that was amazing! LOL omg I didnt watch any of the footage yet since I wanted to keep things a surprise for me. Ill have to watch some of the footage now lol. LOL it was funny, Curtis was in most of my video , its his hat captured on the bottom right. I was 2 or 3 rows behind him.

Thanks for the kind words! I purchased a new phone to help out with the video as I seem to mostly have audio for these shows dialed in now. It was difficult to film since I was about 5-6 rows back but the video did come out much better than usual for being so far back. The show was awesome!

@@Shreddawg damn dude, 6 rows back? you did so well it looks like your only a couple of rows back! and it was really fabulous that you caught Mincho over on your end playing up close for front row fans! it looked like she was only 8-10 feet from you. Maybe a bit of work for you, but it turned out excellent: your video is far higher quality than 80% of Band-Maid fan vidcap videos I have seen. BTW tell mom and Tiff I said "Hiya".

@@fremen6013 Yeah I was pretty far back. The zoom on the new phone is REALLY good. I did have to hold the phone over my head the whole time though >.> Yeah I try to make each one better than the last one but its a bit difficult. I will say I am a bit disappointed with the view count on this video considering how difficult it was to film being so far back and essentially how much money I had to spend upgrading my phone. I currently have 10k views where my last San Diego live has over 39k views. I dont think that video was nearly as good as this one and I was all the way up near the front. Its also tough filming because I miss out quite a bit on the show and I only attended one 10 year anniversary show. At the end of the day, I guess it doesnt matter since I dont monetize the videos. I really just want to share them and save the experience. Its just a bit discouraging to spend so much time, effort, and money to essentially have a video bomb. >.> It makes me reconsider if I will continue to fully film shows or just film songs here and there so I can actually enjoy the show myself. Ill let them know you said hi :)

do you have a handle for the phone? I got one, they make a LOT of difference in stability and are cheap.

@@fremen6013 Unforunately I havent found one that will work as they will block my mic. Now this new phone is even larger as well. Also at the end of the day, I need to watch how much I am spending on equipment if its essentially going to waste. So its kind of a lose lose situation right now >.>

Apparently a lot of people did lol. I think the YT algorithm doesn't push out my videos to people because I don't post consistently XD

I really recommend seeing BAND-MAID live if you have the opportunity. They really do put on an amazing show. They are better live than recorded in my opinion.

Yo! Yeah its always great to capture these things. Its always a bit rough to do so when 5-6 rows back but generally I can capture the audio pretty well even if the video quality isnt the best. Unfortunately I will miss the Hanabie show, Ill be getting ready to head to Japan for 3 weeks mid October so I couldnt take the time off for the Hanabie show >.> Ill be at the PassCode show next month though. Nice to see you as well! :)
