So, this week started with some news that I definitely wasn't expecting.
Today we have some very good news, but we also have bad news....
As you know, we have two series on the channel:

Nemophila will soldier on without Saki, just as Saki will soldier on without Nemophila. The balance in the kingdom of J-metal remains the same, and we are ever-grateful for the music. Domo, domo arigatougozaimasu, beautiful ladies…we are forever in your debt. 🙇‍♂️🔥🇯🇵🤘🥲

Will be curious to see what happens with Nemophila now. There will be a lot of speculation but time will tell. Excited for the NAON YAON show, and REALLY excited for the Asterism/ Metalverse performance next month. And the new Band-Maid song, of course. Thank you.

Hal-Ca could take nemophila to the next level, but im doubtful we will see that happen.

HAL-CA writes most of the music for Asterism, and has a lot of creative control. Nemophila’s producer writes most of their music.

Apparently the girls plan to continue as a quartet. I believe, however, that it is essential to find a replacement for Saki. And since it looks like the band is going to participate in the next edition of NAONのYAON on May 18, this would be a good opportunity to at least bring in a guest guitarist. If they wanted to have an experienced guitarist, Yuki from D_Drive or Rie A.K.A. Suzaku would be proven options, they would also consider using a friend of the house like Tomo-Zo. If they wanted a younger, newer guitarist Hal-Ca from Asterism or Li-sa-X, who is also Hazuki's partner, sound like exciting options, but neither usually share the lead guitar parts. The truth is that the options mention above are maybe unrealistic due to several reasons... but two names that do seem feasible to me are Sakura Yoshida and Mayto, both shared duties in Hagane, both are young and talented , Mayto is apparently available and Sakura is still part of Hagane... but the band seems to be on standby. I suppose there are other interesting names available, what do you think?

In my opinion, if they still intend to play their current songs, they will need a new person in the group, at least for live performances... I also thought about Yuki and Lisa-X😆🤟 but like you said, they are unrealistic options😪

I could see for NAONのYAON them using Tomo-Zo if the band slots would allow as Tamu has helped them out and would not be seen as a hard member addition. As for others as permanent members, we all need to keep in the back of our minds that Management contracts also would have some influence on who would be allowed. From what I understand, in Japan, the Management company can put up money for "Artist Development" and would not want talent just jumping ship.

I recently watched an instagram live of Hal-Ca playing a new 7 string guitar so i started dreaming..........but as you said it is pretty unrealistic unfortunately. I like the option of Sakura Yoshida you suggested, she played with Tamu in the Nakayoshi Metal Project of Daisuke Kurosawa and she is a great shredder. Plus she smiles a lot, so she could fit perfectly with the smiling girls of Nemo expecially Tamu & Hara-chan. Some suggested also Narumi that played with Hazuki in Disqualia. Hope for the best.....

I am just very grateful that I was able to see the original Nemophila line up live. It also makes me appreciate that Band-Maid have been together for ten years. I'm hoping they make it to thirty years like Korn, one of my other favorite bands has.

SAKI's has announced that her first solo live will have Hana from Gacharic Spin as one of the guest musicians.

@@panterarufo9734 Might be just some kind of instrumental concert. Who knows. Haven't seen a vocalist announced. Great drummer though. Senri Kawaguchi is among the best female drummers in the world. I know there's a bassist, but haven't seen his/her name.

@@andreaspedersen3952fantástica la Senri! Buenos músicos de primer nivel! Estoy seguro que saldrá alucinante y elegante, con la espectacular Saki! Pero falta una cantante de su nivel! Si va a ver una cantante de nivel bajo y común, mejor que no haya nadies! Malograria el espectáculo. Quiero remarcar lo importante de la cantante . Así seas la mejor baterista del mundo, sin cantante igual de buena, no funciona optimamente el equipo! Porque lovebites, Band Maid no son las bandas más famosas del mundo si son extraordinarios musicos? Por las cantantes, no son lo mejor de lo mejor! Lo siento!

Nadie ocupará oficialmente el lugar de Saki, sólo guitarristas invitadas, colaboradoras de Nemophila, cualquiera puede ser ! Hasta miyako para una presentación! Nemophila es linda y amigable! Very good news video again. Just a suggestion: if you come up with a consistent simple name for these like "This week's Japanese Rock News" - to put in the thumbnail and/or the description - they'll be easier to spot and you might get a following specifically for these videos.

There's an abundance of uber- talented guitarists in Japan, so it all boils down to how the chemistry will play out between the remaining members and a new 2nd guitarist. For established bands the chemistry amongst the members is massively important.

@@davidarcus5131 Which is why my thoughts turned to Lisa-X. We have the preexisting relationship with Hazuki, who Lisa-X somewhat considers a Sensei. What we don't know is if Lisa-X would want to be involved at that level as a band member. She's never been in anything that was not focused on her. But it's very true, there is certainly no shortage of uber talented guitarist in Japan.

@@Kmudaify I saw a clip of Hazuki performing in an outdoor concert with LisaX (and Kanade, I think), and Hazuki appeared more at ease and engaged with the others on stage than when playing with Nemophila. I could have been reading too much into it, but now I'm not so sure I was. Your suggestion deserves merit. She and Saki did give us some memorable twin guitar passages, however.

Hazuki has been working with Li-SA-X longer than with Nemophila. They certainly have the chemistry. Lisa has been playing the guitar for about 14 years now and is using a 7-string guitar more and more. Additionally, Hazuki invited Lisa to the Budokan performance. Unfortunately, Lisa is occupied with Koiai and I believe attending a University, but I’m not positive on the last. I don’t think Lisa would abandon Kotono, or Kanade who just became their official drummer a couple of months ago. Very talented guitarist though.

I think 💬💬 Nemophila without Saki would be interesting. Hazuki is very capable. I think replacing Saki would be a big mistake. Have you heard of Growing.... Adventure.!?!? Interesting........ 😂😢😮😅😊😂
