One of the best things about them is just their interaction between each other and their fans. Also, the amount of styles they use. No two songs sound at all the same. They are literal geniuses

Yea this one is my favorite song of BAND-MAID it has everything. 👉 Akane: wicked drumming thru out the song. 👉 Kanami: insane guitar solo. 👉 Saiki / Miku: Vocal harmonizing. 👉 MISA: Bass breakdown. 👉 Breakdown section at the end. Overall a Masterpiece! *Blooming the gateway drug of BAND-MAID!!!*

Welcome aboard. Never in my life have I ever followed a non-English speaking band before seeing these wonderful ladies around 2015/2016. You may not understand what they say but you can figure out they are something special. My advice is just jump into the rabbit hole. Band-Maid's studio stuff is good but their live performances are something else. The ladies have a knack for taking what would be an average song on their albums and making them outstanding in concert. Don't feel weird for liking them even though you may not speak the language because their music shatters all barriers.

Blooming is similar to controlled chaos. The live version is even better if you can believe it. I won't say anything about this band other than just how much fun they are to watch. Not just on stage or video, but in their interviews or cutting up with other. So much personality, quirkiness and so damn humble to be this good at their craft. Great job. Subscribed

They’re all freaking bonkers on their instruments. Whoever mixed this song deserves HUGE props. Listen to it a few times and you can see how each instrument pokes through to the forefront- I love Misa (Bassist). She rips it better than anyone and during the first solo Akane (drummer) keeps the tempo and intensity up throughout. Do I even need to say anything about Kanami (lead guitar)? Def has a fun punk/pop vibe but it’s crazy how every reaction I see NO ONE has anything negative to say. Keep up the good work. I like you guys lol

The live version from the just recently released concert DVD. That was recorded February 14th 2020 in Japan, is killer. If I am not mistaken it is the second song of the show !

Well, yes, they're talented, but they are also classically trained in some of Japan's best musical schools, and they work insanely hard at their craft. Yes, homegirl shreds, but I submit that it's their back line of MISA (bass) and Akane (drums) that sets them above every other band I've heard.

Yes and no. Misa and Akane are known to be top tier, but Kanami is the mastermind behind their song compositions

I've been playing guitar since 1978 and have 15 guitars. I been in 3 rock bands; Power (1980), Route 66 (1983-86), Black Mind (1986-87). I'm a looser 😜🤘

@@kent-oveprestberg3578 Well, there's that Japanese work ethic. No doubt she's busted her ass to achieve that level. She deserves it. In my old age, I'm a weekend warrior playing the bar scene. It's a lot of fun and I don't have to deal with the headaches that comes with being a "rockstar". Perhaps you're in the same situation? There's no loser in that. @@kent-oveprestberg3578 Honestly, when Buckethead first came out, I kind of blew him off as being too Gimmicky (yeah....like maid outfits?) But when I sat down and listened to his stuff, I was like "Damn!!!" I guess that old cliché "never judge a book by it's cover" holds true. Sorry to hear about your condition. I also get a lot of pleasure from working on guitars. Have you tried that?

@@snakewhisperer1. No, I have'nt done that. It's not my game 😎. I just adore looking at guitars and touch them, or grooming them, lol. The Pauls n V's are my favourites. I have 5 V's and 6 Pauls. One request....put on your headphones and listen to the tune; Eerie Canal with Buckethead. It's on his #51 Pike album Claymation Courtyard...or is it 53? LoL! He's a master at his wah-pedal. Great reaction great band Lso checkout lovebites one of the best power metal bands out there. Another 5 piece all female japanese band with a brill I ant twin guitar attack . Some titles Shadowmaker. When Destinies align, Rising , the crusade , Break through the wall . If you like badmaids shredding wait to you hear lovebites.

Their earlier stuff has a slightly different sound but it's still not to be missed even though they don't all have proper film clips. SHAKE THAT is a great fun rock song that you will want to dance to. SAIKI'S voice was just a little higher ( she was very young and she damaged her voice at one stage) but it's a great sound and iff they had stayed with it they still would have been a great band but like all the really great bands they just continue to evolve. BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST all the greats, took a step in a slightly different direction with each album and Iff you look at the 6 releases this band has had its obvious that they are destined for greatness.

Nice MCR shirt, unreal they finally come back AND... can't come back. I love that Band-Maid demonstrated they could write something other than the full-on, hard driving hard rock. That said, I prefer their full-on, hard driving hard rock :-) This was a MISA-lite episode, so feel it's only fair that the next album has a song that features extended bass soloing.

We had tickets to go see them in September, so keeping fingers crossed they don't cancel 😬😬. This song however was just absolutely insane. Very groovy, smooth rock experience. Hope we didn't "annoy" too much in this one haha. 🤘🤘🤘
