Miku came up with the "far away" bridge part but doesn't remember doing it, and the others also apparently don't really remember what "homework" they submitted. I've seen this before with great bands, where they're such an organic unit that they quickly forget who an idea came from, maybe because the others help improve it. Kinda like five great authors writing chapters then also editing each other. The wild thing is, decisions by committee in any field tend to be not so great, but somehow the 'Maids excel at it. I think they know and respect each another at a level where they have a fine-tuned sense of when to defer to the one who's the "expert" about something and when to stand their ground, and the "expert" in a situation is open to an idea from the others. Like I can totally see Miku & Saiki arguing about a harmony and then Akane suggesting something completely different and the vocalists are like "OMG THAT'S IT!" All that would be secondary to Kanami's original genius of course.

All she has to do is getting drunk everytime she performs this song on stage! Oh BTW even Saiki comes up with ideas she doesn't even remember because she was drunk when she said that. 🤣 but it's a regular thing rather than this particular song.

@@stevehall5128 Some of the best ideas I ever had I can't remember at all. Dammit!! But yep, agree with everything you said there. The song is a compositional masterpiece, and the performance ain't too shabby either!

@@lurkmerchant I know that's meant as humour, but encouraging people to get drunk as a matter of course is one of the stupidist things to do. Alcohol and drug abuse has killed the careers of a massive number of talented people - alcohol alone has literally killed dozens! MISA already has a bit of an alcohol problem.
