I wanted to make a cd for the car of their absolute BEST songs, and after 3 cd's worth and SO Hard to choose, I gave up and just have THE ENTIRE CATALOGUE as my playlist. They ARE the best thing since Rush retired, and blow the rest of the music world away, they really have "Conquered" the World.

Yeah...This is one of their best songs, among 100 others.

"Blooming" is a good follow-up to "DICE" .....we never let you guys down.

Another thing… they are never sleeping. There’s the hook. That groove where the guitarist could hold the note, or the drummer run a steady 1-2-3-4. Nah. Guitar fills. Double kicks. Half time. Off time. But they’re all together. It never gets self-indulgent or annoying. And you can tell they’re having a blast. This is the best new band I’ve discovered in a long time.

Dice is the 14th song off their 2018 "World Domination " album. One of the best rock albums ever made. Every song on this album is a "stand out".

a common comment during reactions of band maid is "i don't understand the words but it doesn't matter as it sounds great" and that's a very solid fact. i always tell people who i show the band to that even though you don't speak Japanese and only understand the parts of songs in English just think of the words as another band instrument, we cannot speak guitar or drums or bass but we know when they sound fantastic and there no part of this band that isn't fantastic

Your favorite song will always be the next song you hear... I only have ONE favorite song (Puzzle) out of over 120 all the other songs are on the same level for me personally... They never miss... Domination, Blooming MV are some suggestions from my side.... Domination is FILLED with solos from everyone and an BLAST... Blooming is very punkrock heavy with an totally CRAZY solo from Kanami (leadguitar). I think that is what you are looking for and gonna fall in love with. Suggest for next reaction 'Manners and Black Hole' live (two songs in one video) that will blow you away. Agree with all the songs being recommended oh and they do killer ballads as well, Daydreaming and About Us to name but 2 (and Anemone an oft missed stunning gem of a song). Also if you can find Puzzle and Anemone acoustic live, they will break your heart.

After this, I think you would enjoy the Official Live Video of "Play", which was originally a "pee break" instrumental also, but Saiki went to Miku and said "why can't we have lyrics ?" Miku said "sure" and the result is AMAZING. I think it is the best song live song where Saiki gets the crowd REALLY riled up. You have to react to it.

Dice, the first song I heard from BAND-MAID back in 2018 shortly after it dropped, been a hardcore Maidiac ever since. I was immediately blown away, especially by how prominent the BASS is! It's something rarely heard in Hard Rock/Metal in the West, but is relatively common in Japanese Rock... I totally got a Paramore vibe (who I like) from it too! 😆 Oh BTW Nick, you nailed the name pronunciations. 👍

Guys, I'm glad you're back to reacting to Band Maid. In December, Band Maid released a livestream electro-acoustic concert video. They put one of the songs from the concert on KZfaq. The song, "Catharsis" show this groups versatility and artistry. Treat yourself to that video .

Good to see you guys again. Every Band-Maid song is one of their best. Since you're going back and forth between live and studio, might as well make Domination Live your next one. Saiki's at her best and the crowd loves it. Then your next MV could be Blooming or Rinne. You're still in the earlier to mid years, Man, wait till you hear them now.

Nick you'll be a Maidiac in short order. DICE was my first Band-Maid song and I immediately went on a binge. I listen to them daily. And you should too. There are way too many great songs to suggest but for great playlist music try the MV's for Warning, Blooming, Rinne, Manners (an amazing groovy mid-temp song) and don't ever forget the power ballad DAYDREAMING. Their latest release SENSE is the opening for the anime Platinum End. Down the pigeon hole you go and bring Ryan and Ty with you. I think you already know that BAND-MAID is Awesome. Peace.

Dice and Rinne are songs which you better watch in the studio version. But in general you should watch official live versions. Musically they are as good as the studio versions, but they re-arange sometimes the songs and add new parts to it and you have also the interaction between the Ladies....much more fun to watch and listen.

Next: official live videos for Real Existence and Domination. There are at least 20 songs as good as Dice. Many would argue more.

You guys are getting warmer with Band Maid! Do “Domination”, especially the live video-that’s what hooked me. You’d wish you were there. My favorite of theirs is “Black Hole”-it’s 220 bpm. There’s a live version of it combined with the song “Manners,” which sounds like old school Aerosmith. This band is sickly talented.

Dice… as great as it is, is not their best song. Not by a long shot. But that’s not an indication of how awesome they are. No, what really indicates their awesomeness is just HOW MANY songs are as good, or better, than Dice! Not dissing the song because, as I said, it is terrific… it kicks most non-Band Maid songs asses… just painting a picture of what awaits you on your journey. Manners/Black Hole official live… you’ll not regret it. You’ve not heard stuff from their new album yet, and that’s a great place to start.

all their songs are their best songs. check out Alone. it was the first song their label let them write entirely on their own, and they absolutely proved themselves. one of the best Kanami solos. other than that it depends what you want. if you want heavy, check out Rinne. if you want vocal fireworks, the live version of Wonderland. oh, and Domination live is mandatory. that's their statement piece, it's them saying "this is us, here we are. you with us? then let's effin' go!"

New Madiacs (that's what we call ourselves) are so much fun to see. It brings back how I felt when I first started with the band years ago. Thanks for the refresher guys, and it is a fact that any song you choose will blow your socks off. But I think you should maybe try something from their newer stuff next. Try Manners/Black Hole a twofer live that gives you some groove and some progressive rock in the same video. Enjoy!

The good: Drum/bass intro, guitar slide-ins, bass/guitar additions to 2nd verse, bass solo, guitar solo, the breakdown, drum outro. The great: the transition between solos where MISA starts the phrase and Kanami finishes it. Dice is in contention for best song on World Domination - along with at least 5 others. My over-all favorites - the list breaks down after a clear top 5: 1 Manners (live or studio) 2 Corallium 3 Moratorium (live especially) 4 Blooming 5 Play (live) 6 Puzzle 7 About Us 8 After Life 9 Freedom (Live) 10 Don't you tell me (live with the power trio) And I had a hard time keeping it to 10. Dice might be top 15. Maybe.

These girls kick ass as usual, you should check out their live acoustic version of Catharsis from their Christmas Day acoustic show. But if you want a real mind f**k then you should watch Babymetal it'll change everything you thought you knew about music

Honestly, go to their KZfaq channel, sort the videos to oldest first, and go. Every song will put the same smiles on your face. And those are only the tip of the iceberg for Band-Maid. To beat a dead horse. Every song of their 100+ catalog is better than anything else coming out today.

Thier songs are different. Ha! they have a song named "Different". But they play any style so there are no limitations on what they will do next. They start off with a metal beat, move into more a hard rock, throw in a catchy kind of pop rock chorus, get the crowd involved like the punk rockers of old, then seamlessly transition into a breakdown with a couple face melting solo's, throw in a couple more changeup's to continue escalating the song through the outro. That might be all in just one four-minute song. Then their next song might just be the tastiest retro groove rock masterpiece you ever heard.

If you can get your hands on the LIVE version of "Don't You Tell ME".. with MISA & Kanami dueling with Akane's deep drum beats....you'll think you've died and gone to heaven..Its not long...but the feel and atmos is euphoric...I believe Saiki asked them just to play something a bit longer, as this duel doesn't appear on the album version or the other LIVE version. But incase you can't find it, you could see it via someone who has already reacted to it....it was taken down from the bands own channel. If you want to skip to a live version next time, I recommand "Domination official live vidéo" to get a glimpse of each member individual talent. Otherwise, there's "Freedom OLV" to be blown away by Akane destroying her drums or "Play OLV to be beaten down by a killer intro of bass and guitar. (The three are from a single concert with 24 or 25 songs in a row) Enjoy the ride, guys. You're just at the begining. And keep up the good work. ;-)

It's a semi-live clip, recorded during a concert that was live-streamed but (for obvious reasons) without any audience and features two songs that couldn't be more different from one another. Hey guys just a couple suggestions if you want to go with MV try ( Blooming and Choose Me) just for starters. They have so many great videos to choose from. Band Maid is definitely the Greatest Musically Talented Band goin today. I'm a 62 year old Maidiac and enjoy Band Maid for every song and video they've done.

If you can find a quality recording, you might like to look for the official live performances of these guys. They have a tendency to enhance or extend intro's and solo's in their live performances to change it up a bit. That and their stage presence makes the live performances just a bit more special. The commenters making the suggestions will let you if there is a quality live recording out, or if you should look to the studio MV. We were getting a lot of quality professionally recorded official live videos from their World Domination tour before the virus shut it down. A song like "Domination" live 2.14.2020 is the way to go. But if it were me, to hear all the crazy instrumental detail in a song like "Blooming", or those mind-blowing groove elements in a song like "Manners", I'd look to the studio MV's... at least until a top-quality live video comes out.
