I have seen some big concerts… U2, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Sloan, Public Enemy, Smashing Pumpkins….. this was by far the best show I have ever seen! Band Maid resurrected Rock music! Po!

They are at a different level. As far as bands that avoid experimenting on stage they are at the top. This is a departure from my norm, as I tend towards bands that have extended jams... groove bands...

I can hear you brother... I've seen Pink Floyd twice, Deep Purple twice, Dream Theater, Uriah Heep.... and finally this year I got to see Band-Maid twice so far, with Yokohama Arena to go. Band-Maid tops them all as a live band experience. Band-Maid's crowd participation skills are out of this world good. Their musicianship makes their shows memorable for a lifetime. Lastly... their fans are also the best in my experience.

In addition to their usual stellar talent and live charisma the Maids just seem to be having fun and that joy is infectious even through a phone screen thousands of miles away. What a fcken band, thanks for this 👍🍻

@@brunobryant4846 There is a lot to consider.. Whole shows? Whole songs? Not dancing around to get watchable video? Close so you often get weird, but fun mixes? And you can not see the whole band? But up close you can get good close ups of individual members... Or to the back for better sound mix but harder to see the individuals in the band? But you can see all of them at once? For me I want first good audio, so I got an external mic. POrtland is my favorite audio... I kept the video on MISA a lot.. ;) Anaheim is good audio too, but not AS loud, it is played best on a home system, on high volume... I was happy with the video on that one too, not too bouncy. And also SacramentPO was kind of a mess, i was jumping around a lot at times.. hehe. But good sound overall. And sPOkane was heavy on Kanami and Akane in the audio mix, and lots of clear video of Kanami, but the sound quality seems a bit weird somehow. It's a bit of a crap shoot, and a bit of a distraction. I enjoy watching these after the shows, and sharing, so it becomes an extension of my experience... And again, I want solid audio. So I do this to hear them later. And it's great knowing others are catching the vibes thousands of miles away, and in into the future. So bluetooth it through a speaker system, and CRANK IT UP!

One thing is they are touring more and more and as with all tours , bands get better. They have not reach their peak, but they are getting there. They are playing some bigger clubs and Theaters which is good, but they are still unknown in many parts of the country. They need to get on a big tour, it will help them. Right now, Japan rock bands are killing it.

My theory is the band has chosen maximum artistic freedom over establishment controlling them. Thus they don't get the huge publicity power of a major label. Smaller audience, but a very hard core base, and word of mouth being the main promotion. This makes them truly edgy, hip, organic, authentic, and keeps them pushing hard for quality songs and shows. And also..... they ARE having fun playing those awesome tunes.

This concert was absolutely insane. Daisuke is embarrassed looking for Miku to give her the guitar: "Where the hell did she go?". The tech on the left laughs. Great moment. 🤣 Thanks Jim.

Ahhh singalong to Endless Story, it never gets old, I got to experience it at TGT and Zepp Shinjuku, and I hope I will be able to sing along to Endless Story at Yokohama Arena this November. Thanks Jim for your excellent videos, with great sound quality to boot 🙂

Thanks!! I wanted to be sure to get at least one good recording. POrtland I think had the best audio for listening with earbuds. The others were quieter, but sound awesome (in my opinion) on a solid home stereo. In SacramentPO I was having not great at keeping the camera steady, but I sure was having fun!

This is such a treat to watch. First, Kanami singing backup while Miku is otherwise occupied. Then she's dancing around the stage with a huge smile. Obviously the Maids are having a blast, as are the fans. Oh!!!! And then the call and response between Misa and Kanami during Don't You Tell Me is, well, it's goosebumps. Just when I think I can't love them more, they pull off this performance. Ladies, please never stop.
