Spent 3 days sitting in front of my computer to work on this video.. Re-filmed all of the gameplay footage in ultra HD for a better experience! This video is a compilation of all the bosses shown throughout the Metal Slug videogame series. Including the classic ones you've fought in the main series and other & new original bosses from other official Metal Slug games!

The first few metal slugs are indeed very beautiful. But, back on the day, after MGS 4 people started to get tired of these games since they had absolutely nothing new on them. Honestly, I think people were complaining even when MGS 4 released

The art of Metal Slug is based on Diesel Punk, but as the game progresses movements such as Atompunk are also taken.

What I noticed from early metal slugs is that the bosses has visible destruction effects, some of them are even depending on where you damage it. I guess the detail overfocus is why they almost went bankrupt on metal slug 3.

It may or will come as a shock to many, but the reason why MSA has been somewhat consistent on introducing original bosses/vehicles/creatures is because a Nazca employee, the very same employee who was responsible for designing and animating bosses like Jupiter King, Dragon Nosuke, and Huge Hermit, Kazuhiro Tanaka, better known by his alias Max-D, has returned to SNK on his own accord and is actively and currently working on MSA as a designer & sprite artist. Starting from the very first thing he designed for MSA, Cyclobster, up to his latest designed vehicle for MSA, La Torne, he has designed 74 or 75 different vehicles/creatures for MSA so far, and still counting.

What I like about Metal Slug overall world design is, it uses the WW2 and Cold War aesthetics. A combination of brutalism, steampunk, and dieselpunk. Even though when you see the weapons and the boss design, they are a lot of futuristic elements with laser and plasma gun. But when you see the movement of the vehicles & bosses, which have a lot of lag and jittering. It looks like they're powered by an old steam or diesel engine.

Hora y media de nostalgia pura. La batalla contra Amadeus era de mis favoritas! Junto al Júpiter king, Big John, Aesy Nero, Shooting Ray, Hozmi, Big Shee, Brain Robot y demás... Todas excelentes y con su grado de dificultad alta. :D

You put a huge amount of effort with these, as i said 2 weeks ago, you are likely by far the most Dedicated to Metal Slug, showing incredible skills, finding all secrets, A Devine God Gamer of Metal Slug, that is what I am ranking you, i am not sure if there is a higher rank then that, but you would most likely be on top, i hope you continue to put great effort into your work, never stop what your doing, i look forward to what you plan to show next. :D

I dont know why i just dont like the 3d graphics on code j, the gameplay feels too slow compared to the older ones, i just dont like it, they should have done something like Metal Slug 3d or something.

As an aspiring game dev, I wish I had the level of patience and artistic talent that these devs had, it must have taken weeks just to draw every single frame!
