Taylor gas a signature set of runs he places at times. Southern arrangers write where there are many themes going on at one time. That's their hook. They thrive in counter Melodies. Taylor is the man

Yep, I was there! That performance solidified my decision in going to SU. Crabbed in 2017 on tuba and we’re done now.

@@Johnnylowpez Congrats, bro!!! I've always wanted to ask, "how much does the tuba weigh?' Dude, I watch the UTSA halftime EVERY DAMN DAY! I got a whole Playlist devoted to it. I thought I was going crazy until I read the comments and people were saying how they've watched it 100 times. Y'all did 15 magical things in 3-minutes. Amazing! I get really MAD when I watch it - STILL - and find something I missed. LOL. Do you know Mr. Taylor's mailing address? I tried looking for it on SUBR website. I couldn't find it. Thanks! @@beaulah_califa9867 we played on a King fiberglass with a brass bell my freshman year and then we switched to all brass Conn 20ks. The conns definitely weigh at least 50+ lbs minimum on your shoulder. I couldn’t tell you an exact weight though. I’m 5’7 and I would just hit the gym consistently so eventually the tuba didn’t weigh anything after a year lol
