The Bandit 50 series was one of my most favorite baits. Wish they still made those. Luckily, I have three I guard with my life. Best crank bait ever.

As soon as you picked up the blue back chartreuse bait I said that will catch a smallmouth. And then you said it! I read the book The Last Smallmouth by Tony Bean, the guy is a legend and that’s one of the things he mentioned about smallmouth liking the blue back baits more. The Bandit Crappie Series slam the fish here in Tennessee. Disappointed they dropped the 200 size but the 300s work just fine trolling for slabs!

Fished the Arkansas River last night and murdered the spotted bass on the Bandit 200 in red-crawdad. I was a little surprised because the shad were super thick, and bass were feeding on them, but they wanted the craw over shad patterns I threw. Once it touched the bottom in about 7 feet of water, it was getting slammed. Have to weed through the rough fish. I also caught four drum, and an alligator gar that was about 40" long and took me 35 minutes to land.

Good review, I just smashed the walleyes with a pink and yellow 300 here in Wisconsin.

I kind of like the idea of not pulling your crankbait into a depleted oxygen level when comparing a wiggle wart to a Bandit. I guess I'll pick up a few and try them. Heck - I might already own some. I find it really difficult to untie my Fat A until after fall.

Naa stock bandit hooks most of the time not only get in the noubth but double foul them it's not getting away
