Plat 1 isn't bad for 2 weeks ago! Try not to think of your teammates too much.. try and figure out what you can do better. Hitting shots is good, getting kills is good, but there is so so so much more. Good luck in the grind!

Plat 1 to onyx is a bigger gap than it sounds. Trust me, its taken me a year to go from gold 3 to plat 6 (highest rank currently) but like dude said shooting well is only the first step

I've been on the fence a bit! A LOT of pros have gone up in FOV but I've found that 107 fits me PERFECTLY. I think it's just preference honestly.

When you really have to aim (MNK), is not always great advise to make the target smaller

@@adan507 It’s easier to disengage targets which are far away than ones which are close but which I don’t see because they’re off screen. Also, Halo has aim assist on MnK.

Not necessarily better for every fps game to play at 120 fps. Sometimes it can have the opposite effect. Best to find a middle ground.

what is your point? i think i just said a fact: when you have to use your eyes to aim, bigger target easier. Yes MNK should not have AA but try 120 FOV vs bots as teammates with controller and tell me how good aimer you feel, key concept as teammates if you use less than 15 shots for a kill or 15 seconds i would be surprised@@egmont5044

Higher would make fisheye lena effect too big and im not sure that seing 180 would carry any benefit. Also "maxing out" fov would mean that you see 360 around you and that would be silly 😅

@@spartanx1386 Yeah it's not worth it. Rank Arena since season 2 it's more like if you are bored killing noobs on social and want a challenge, you hop in into that game mode but I think it should be like this because their system on Rank is atrocious.

My current setup is xbox series x gaming monitor 120fps setup elite controller with paddles. My question is this. Is halo infinite more responsive on pc I.e input delay? Sometimes I really get shit on so bad feel like I'm at such a disadvantage on console. Lot of xbox guys play on pc with pad. Feel like it's a huge advantage for them.

I stopped playing Halo recently as my poor connection is making the game worse and worse as the population keeps declining. Being is Australia definitely doesn't help.

Yep, I get 14-20 ping in casual play depending on playlist, but 79-82 consistent ping in ranked. I’m on fiber. The servers ruin this game for me.

@@ActiveeTV Respectfully, let’s say that is the case… are we just gonna ignore the fact that this weapon not only is more difficult to use than the BR, but arguably easier for PC to master (don’t think that’s debatable personally), which makes the onboarding of new players EVEN worse than it already is. People focusing on what the “Pro Players” want are part of the reason Halo isn’t fun anymore for the average Joe wanting to check out a new shooter or at least return to this one. Can’t tell you how many of my friends have jumped on to this game because the announcement of the new update only to be force to use a gun the doesn’t feel like Halo to them, the game missing core features that enable longevity, or are getting clicked off the screen by MnK the second they start ranking up in Arena. You can say I’m wrong all you want brother… but the numbers don’t lie. Season 5 saw an uptake in player count for the first week at 18k on Steam and then plummeted right back down to its old average of 7k within a few days after. The game isn’t “fun” and it’s because no one with influence is standing up for average player. “gEt GoOd” right? Sure, I get it. But what I would like to see is the player count rise and a have a level of hype return to the game. As someone who has witnessed over 10 different people stop playing because of this gun, simply don’t like it, or at least prefer the BR, something tells me this weapon isn’t helping the cause of Halo being Back and wish you’d acknowledge that.

@@mattrogers8506couldn’t have said it better myself if you play on mnk you should be forced to play against pc players remember when video games actually cared and if you used a mouse on Xbox or anything else it automatically stuck you in lobbies only against other mouse and keyboard players I sure as hell do thank Fortnite for this forced cross play against mnk but because the big names whine you and I the average joe is forced into playing against people with way more of a advantage

Pros have been using Octagon since forge was released. So yeah it's a personal thing haha, all good though, do whatever you need to do to improve 😁

The reach comp scene didn’t exist. It was awful. And don’t bring up zero bloom, game was dead before that. I don’t get the move to a single fire weapon which feels like it has way easier red reticle aim assist. I’m getting way more perfects and reversals. It’s not a skill gap, when literally I let go of my stick and use the bullet magnetism and aim assist to register hits. The BR had less of both, and required more team coordination, but I do like the less cross map action with the bandit, but I think the should have just decreased red reticule scoped in with the BR… think how H3 was in a distance.

I meant MCC port to PC first game Reach and comp with MNK was impossible. Was like playing vs robots. Old AA logic was cranked to 11 for whatever reason.@@boristeplitskiy7632
