I’m buying vonyx 15” 1000w but there’s 2 speakers which means 2000w and a mix all together 920 with stands and cables and bags.

Hi, I have just had to return a Fenton FT10LED system. It is a less expensive speaker but the issue I found was as soon as the wireless mic is switched on, or the wired mic is plugged in but not even switched on the unit starts to buzz or hum. Did you or do you experience any humming or buzzing when this Vonyx VSA700-BP 15" mics are switched on?

Can I ask your thoughts on this speaker now that you’ve had it a few months? Because I always find that you don’t know how good or powerful something is, until you have used it in a real word situation, like a gig indoors at a wedding, bar, pub etc or busking outdoors.

Yes the xlr/ jack input can be for guitar, the two mics are in built so don’t need an input

Is there a way to set these up im not seeing, i cant use these for djing i can barely hear instruments and layers that are supposed to stand out in the mix

speaker connects to Iphone via BT & but Iphone keeps flipping into into headphone mode. Every device I connect does the same & tried all options to disconnect and take it out of headphone mode but none working?? tks

i always suspected that the mics would be the weakest link in this kit. i've got two of the passive version of this speaker that we use as monitors, they sound excellent especially after a few months of use, but they're definitely not "1000w". the funny think about watts is to get twice the volume you need 10 times the watts. so this 1000w speaker should be twice as loud as a 100w speaker. bet it isn't.

if you look at the fuse rating on the mains in, that'll tell you the absolute maximum power that this speaker can do continuous, as you can't get more power out than you put in. for example, if the fuse was 2amps and you're running it from 240v mains, then you can apply ohms law to calculate watts: 2amps * 240volts = 480watts. factor in 20% loss because nothing is 100% efficient and you don't want to be at the fuse rating during normal use. anyhow, curious how it held up for you.

So it's not really 1,000 watts the weight has put me off except it is a wheely I suppose. My main concern is my current PA music clips out when im singing along to backing tracks. Has anyone else tried this with backing tracks?

@@alligemini14 we use the passive version as monitors for our keyboard player and guitar player and they are excellent and bassy. if they're sensible it'll have a 300w ish amp inside. best bet is to find one in a store and try it. but don't let me alarm you my message was more to inform people about the bad advertising that every company does and how to understand watts vs. loudness and i didn't do a great job. the best way to guesstimate power of an amplifier or speaker like this is to look at the fuse rating, it's usually marked next to the power plug, these come with a 3.15amp fuse rated at 250v, multiply those numbers to get the maximum power (787w) and assume it's about 75% of that. wow, this is long, sorry, i always seem to have too many words??

This guy doesn’t reply by the looks of it so I hope this helps. Even though your comments was 4 months ago maybe someone else will read this 🤣 I just bought this speaker today. The bass and treble need to be cranked to the max to sound at all decent, and it’s pretty muddy sounding in my opinion. Perhaps regretting my decision a little bit but I think in this price range for a Bluetooth you do get what you pay for. Maybe the JBL party box 310 would have been better.

Not sure you need battery powered speakers in that situation, so in that sense, there are better quality speakers available that you can plug in
