hey what pantheons do we use for the bane occultist ?

im kinda newish, what farming content is this build good at? should i avoid delve,

@Guess Who i used stormblast and flamewall with arcane surge till i got the main skills, even kept flamewall around till i got the staff. Was really nice tbh.

If you go by Subs leveling guide...this build will blow you away. I started 4 leagues ago and bane was by far the easiest to understand and felt so nice leveling. I actually played it enough to kill some bosses with it(first time ever)! I highly HIGHLY recommend !

Yeah between this pick up and the lack of health or energy shield nodes I was spamming flasks like mad. Good call to pick it up later

for the AOE, you can anoint Hex Master (Crimson/Black/Opalescent) for AOE till you get enough +levels on Bane and switch out to Corruption or whichever anoint you prefer I think Subtractem mentioned this in one of his progression videos but leaving it here in case people trying out the build come looking for help on it

@@chasegimbel1904 Upgraded Brine King(Major God) for Cannot be Frozen, reduced Chill effect and Abberath(Minor God) for less ignite duration, Burning ground. I personally use Abberath because I dont like that ignite/burning takes off my Energy shield quickly. If you don't mind the ignite, Upgraded Yugul is nice for reduced curse effect. Garukhan is also an option for the reduced shock effect.

Blight ed contagon was neat but very clunky without cast speed so i looked for aternatives for a smooth leveling experience. A2 I switch to soulrend with lesser multi projectiles, then when you can switch to greater multi projectiles. I still used blight and puffed it on stragglers and used it as a panic button but the sheer range and comfort of soulsurfing feels godly. use withering step and "surf" on your cast and it's very satisfying and will give just a bit more dps to get rid of gaps that other spells have where you deal juuust to little damage to oneshot. You'll kill enough to level up not when walking you just want to keep moving and keep your flasks up, try to time be your soulrend in between withering steps of on lcick, or put mb on lclick and ws on middle for more controll. It will also clear trash so that you can cast ed on the thing you wanted to and has ridiculous range for very comfortable bossing Use essence drain to "kiss" enemies and leech their life. Contagon+ed is a risky panic button with low cast rate but will shotgun your hp on a pack of squishies Wither on a totem with faster casting for big boy dps if you need just a bit more damage you can withering step trough a pack then hit them

I’ve done both. Cold dot has more survivability, bane has better clear and more damage.

@@Grfmstr949 Bane will have pretty good defense this season too I think. And we have alot of new crafting options.

@@Skaatje Cold dot can run aegis aurora so it will have better defense than bane by default, but I do agree that bane's shaping up to be pretty tanky on its own

I did bane pop with two obliterations in delirium league before, and it was so much fun. shitty single target dps but 1 click to explode 3 screens was incredible.
