Episode 2
Ray Hill has led a life of crime. From a young age Ray was molested, which he believes started him on the journey of fighting at an early age of 13. This led onto numerous arrests, for numerous offences including robbery. After serving almost three decades behind the door, has been left with nothing. Ray advocates to address problems, learn about the psychology, or continue to be incarcerated.

Absolutely top class interview marv.. Real old school straight talking stand up guy ..really enjoyed that and a fantastic way to host a pod cast marv is staying relatively quiet whilst the guest tells his story..too many interviewer's jump in and go of on one but bang on the money with this one son.. Good luk Ray👍✌

Marvin quality mate!! Not going to go on a long un but specific content of all your interviews is going to give people, myself included the strength and the confidence to seek out the people they need to talk to about ‘things’. It’s not just changing the narrative it’s so so much deeper then that. Respect of the highest order my man. Thank you !! Take a bow son 🙏✌️

That's the secret to a good interviewer, just ask a decent question or touch on a relevant subject and let the interviewee answer it. It's niether brain science nor rocket surgery but so many seem to get it wrong by making it about themselves.

Yet again more proof of how the state treats victims of abuse versus the perpetrators of that abuse. Anyone who hurts kids should be brutalised by the institutions, not protected. It turns my stomach. Good interview Marv. I hope everything works out for Ray. I wonder if Pete Doherty ever forgave him?

Really like the videos Marvin, I was bought up on roupell park estate, Upper Tulse Hill, was never a hard nut myself or a fighter, am 47 now, times were different then, live in Ireland now. My Dad would have made a good Gangster, he was tough as fuck back then on the buildings all his life. I knew alot of hard cases. Good to see you doing good work now. Drink and heroin screwed me for years, homeless and that. Class myself as English. Dad was Irish, good to me, strict though. What do you think of the Irish? Shout out Joe from Ireland.

Interesting , part 1 and 2 but the thing is, some things were changed just moments later when questions or righted. Like the passport, "I cant even get one mate, its impossible mate" two seconds later told you can, "yea thats what my prison solicitor told me, put in for passport and youl get it". Almost like if it wasnt questioned or righted, oh I dunno. Most of it was good but some of it was iffy.

I think your right but Ray was on remand for over two years before being sentenced. so I think that’s we’re he got confused he needs to write things down for reference wen talking about things that most would struggle to remember day dates so on 👍

@Stef-X 3 жыл бұрын
@@mrbipolarmattyhoward6071 he most likely got a discretionary life sentence, but was treated as an IPP, either way Marv must have held him in high regard, if he's got him on the podcast and with him offering to get him back on if the viewers wanted it to happen. But a do get exactly what you mean about the date's, and a very well could be wrong, but a spent day's in court with a judge who wanted to give me an IPP, in the end he couldn't cos of the date a was charged. Am only over half ray's age and ma memories of childhood are fast dwindling!!!

Is there honor among thieves? Not in my experience, unless you grew up with the people you are doing business with. We all turn ruthless playing Monopoly as kids. One thing that bothers me is the prison code of beating a so-called nonce for their crimes. But the same people bully the vulnerable in prison, and on occasion, rape them. Is that not as bad? I would bet half of those men have hurt the vulnerable in the past, including women. So, where is the ethics? Ok, to beat some alleged wife beater, but also ok to bully someone weak. Seems to me the same thing. The payback is guilt. You need solidarity in prison, but that is rare. The beating of the so-called nonses might at times just be a reason to hurt someone. Man, I think some guys want someone to be a nose. They wait for it, because they are nasty. If you feel that passionate about protecting the weak, then do it inside rather than hurt people so much they end up hanging from a beam. Not sure how much ethics is involved seeing as the perpetrator is making some small kid's life a living hell. None of it makes sense. If you were truly a strong man, you'd support the vulnerable in prison. It's like a Catch 22. This only plays into the hands of people that don't really want prisoners to get rehabilitated. And, I don't mean to be impolite, but be careful about meeting Nigerians online that seem to have cash to throw around. Sorry, maybe you did not explain that well.
