Bang Tao, Phuket - MUST-DOs and tips for visiting on a budget

Bang Tao is a pretty trendy suburb and definitely not the most budget-friendly place in Phuket or Thailand. BUT THERE ARE SOME WAYS TO HELP YOUR WALLET!!
We stayed at the Diamond Resort booked thru Airbnb on Soi 14
Chit Chat Corner was our fave Thai restaurant goo.gl/maps/m3ezF6h9wXzYZD7aA

Also recommend:
Mrs B for bougie drinks
Phuket Coffee Lab for good coffee (best I've had in Thailand so far)
Boat Ave Markets on Friday
Little Paris, they have diff food specials every night
The Mexican for 99B cocktails

oy, just found this vid. I noticed you were going for burgers, but didn't due to 'food poisoning', Really like to know where you think that came from? It's a special I'd like to avoid.

Is Phuket good for working remotely as someone in their 40s? (chilled evenings, yoga, gym, vegan food - that's more me)

Yeah there are a lot of different neighbourhoods you could explore. I think most of the main touristy areas are pretty party-heavy. Google 'coworking spaces' or 'coliving spaces' and you can kinda figure out the good areas that way
