Just travelled thru T2 of Bengaluru yesterday. Very modern, beautifully done, and impressive. I have lived in the USA for 40 years and familiar with major European airports. Few will match up to Bengaluru T2 - infra in India is changing very rapidly and it will be interesting to see where things will be by 2030.

Nope. Paid for, designed and constructed by private industry and money. No Govt. hand in this. Airport is private though Govt. of Karnataka has percentage share in it because it gave 4000 acres for the airport.

Govt gives lots of incentives to companies to invest in India. That's where huge tax money goes. And that's how India developed so fast. Gone are the days of huge tax money scams and just freebie politics

Am from Bangalore and my city is a complete package for everyone...... Airport T1& T2, Roads to Airport,SMVT a/c train station, Namma Metro, Cubbon Park, Lalbagh, Malls, Shopping areas,Cafés, Restaurants, Pubs, Breweries, Discos, Bars Nightlife, awesome weather and most importantly amazing people.

Passed through T2 in Bengaluru in December 2023. the best terminal I had been to thus far in many western countries. Infrastructure built in recent years in India is truly impressive - highways, airports, digital payments etc.

6:30 Bengaluru airport isn't Domestic, it is international!! It has been international for a very long time. Bengaluru is a very important city, so it is natural that it has an international airport. The terminal T2 isnt very crowded because terminal T1 takes most of the crowd as of now.

At least in front of foreigners please support the country. You need to live in the 80's and 90's to know what each government did then and later.
