Our first stop is at Old Vinayaka Mylari hotel, a legendary establishment dating back to 1938, renowned for its iconic Benne Dosa. Golden, and generously buttered, this dosa is a true breakfast delight that sets the perfect tone for our gastronomic expedition.
After satisfying our taste buds, we make a detour to Mysore Zoo to appreciate the city's rich natural heritage before heading to Hanumanthu Chicken pulav, a local favorite. I did not like it mouch though.
No visit to Mysore is complete without marveling at the grandeur of Mysore Palace, a majestic architectural wonder that captivates with its opulence and history. Post-palace exploration, we dive into the vibrant local markets, where the air is filled with the aroma of spices and fresh produce, offering a sensory overload of sights, sounds, and flavors.
By 3 pm, we bid farewell to Mysore, enriched by its culinary treasures and cultural experiences, and journey back to Bangalore with memories of a day well spent discovering the heart and soul of Karnataka's food scene.
