@@bladeofwar that's a fact!. A good friend of mine bought a 87 shadow last summer, it was a well used bike,but it ran soo smooth.. that 87 shadow had absolutely no vibrations from engine revs, but it only has a 4speed gearbox..

Defendant can't have meant it's for trucks only, as he parks his own Jeep in that spot, at 4:34 you can see his jeep along with 5 other vehicles parked that aren't trucks. He pulls his jeep out and parks his truck in that spot, so not only did he hit the bike, the bike was in a whole other spot than the one the defendant was parking into.

@@lillkissan1315 Maybe they are the truck owners? All I know is, she didn't take in account anything he said at all. Nor did she look at the damage that was done. At least we didn't get to see it. She took his word for it. Anyone that has a friend that has his own shop can get them to make up a invoice. That bike was so old and we don't even know the condition it was in before it was damaged either.

@@lillkissan1315 Did this judge get on the phone and call other mechanics? If she did, we didn't see it. I have even seen her go back to check on prices. So, how does she know how much the damage really cost on average? She just took his word through his estimate. She could have easily gotten on the phone and called to see if those are where trucks park and if he parks in that same spot everyday. He stated that there was no other area for trucks to park. And we didn't get any validation that another person that worked there told him he could park there. For all we know it could have been just the opposite and he was just saying that. Do, I think he should pay? Yes, But, the amount depends on those factors for me...not his estimate. Judges have picks and chooses when they want to find out all of the facts. And in this case, she decided to go with her gut rather than making a couple of calls.

If you really can't stand it, you may want to watch a different court program because she looks for the opportunity to scream. She's the Ralph Kramden (Honeymooners) of judges; always yelling.

He couldn’t even demonstrate it was parked illegally. He seemed to be basing that on his feeling that wider lines mean a space is only for a truck, and maybe that’s the rule in other countries, but not here.
