Testing the go Pro on my bicycle on the Green Mile from Benjaikitti to Lumpini.
I bought a new microphone and wanted to see how the Go Pro is working while cycling. I would really spreciate your feedback.

In these two weeks the climate in Italy is even warmer than that of Bangkok, with peaks of up to 40 degrees.. Here I see an oasis of peace close to the city traffic of Bangkok 🌿🌿

This footage is much better. It’s got a nice contrast that gives the image a better sense of definition and depth. The stability of the image is more than surprising, to say the least. And the khlong on the first part of the ride would be awesome for canoeing or kayaking.

The footage is indisputably superb, Jeroen. And ... one thing that comes to my mind (my apologies for being saucy, if any) is; you look more handsome and much younger in this video and in the Khaosan one. Could be the doing of this new camera if not that the reopening of Bangkok just renewed you 😁😁

I always liked running along the green path from my place to Lumphini Park. I've also gone by bicycle as well. Before the elevated walk way was built you could still go there but on the lower surface streets. There was a pedestrian bridge over the expressway.

I did a photowalk there. The neighbourhood from minute 8.45 till the end is great for pictures and food. " The real Thai life".

Very good quality video. Of course, it's shot in 4K and the early morning light is good. I cringe when I see you biking with one hand only while the other is holding the GoPro! I clip mine to one of the straps of my backpack and that frees up both hands for bike control. I do the same when I'm skiing. One just has to play around a little with the positioning of the clip attachment to get it right. But it's certainly safer that way! I love your Bangkok videos and hope to get back there soon, when travelling becomes less uncertain. Best wishes from Vancouver!

The picture is good, the sound quality is good for getting the sound front facing but not as good as your phone at picking up sound behind. It does seem a bit safer and easier for you when cycling so stick with it I would say.

Agreed. The picture looks much better but the sound is uneven. I did love hearing the birds! But your narration was muffled, which completely corrected when you turned the camera around. Dang.

Thanks for video. Can't wait to take a stroll or a bike ride on the green mile next time I'm in Bangkok. The video quality is much better now. The sound is good as well when you are facing/talking to the camera. When we don't see your pretty face 😀 the sound is a bit muffled (as others have mentioned) but its acceptable 👍

good of Mirela to get you the GoPro as i like this vid and is also safer for you to use when riding. lumpini park is really large and has been only to the entrance with statute at Silom road

Sound and video are both top notch mate. Can you point the mic always backwards to pick up your voice better? Hey, it's hard to tell from the vids how close you pass cars but please take care with drivers opening their door unexpectedly. That happened to me a few times!

Traffic is getting back to "normal" i notice :O) GoPro footage is superb. Congrats with the purchase! One thing i notice is that the attached mic is so good that it is picking up every tjirp, rattle, whirl, ... around you. I can blindly tell there's a tuk-tuk heading north two blocks away going by the exhaust sounds Perhaps you can make it a bit more directional iso circumaural ? Trying to help with the sound engineering part.. the video quality otoh is outstanding :-)

Great video, really enjoyed it. My wife and I always run around either Lumpini or Bengakitti parks when we are in Bangkok. It great to know you can run around both without a major excursion on the main thoroughfares. What is the distance between the two? The GoPro looked great as was the sound, by the way.

GoPro Travel Mate! Stabilization is really nice but you are correct, the sound of your voice is better with the Samsung. But overall, I guess if you didn’t mention these changes, it would be very negligible differences (at least in my opinion). The good news now is that you won’t be afraid to make videos even if there’s a typhoon happening! 😎 #GTMTime

it is true that the sound of this camera is different from the other, your voice is very soft wen you are filming in front of you, the traffic is more loud, but also the birds in front of you I can hear better. maybe if you hold it a little more close to you? I like to see your face now and then!

You looked much younger here. What happened? By the way, facelift surgery in Thailand is very popular now, taking less than 2 hours of operation (no hospital admission required ) and then you face is like 15-20 years younger and it's not so expensive either costing 100,000-200,000 baht.

Video quality is better with widescreen which covers the entire screen space, however, the audio quality isn't good though. Audio is better ONLY while you're on selfie mode.

Gopro Media Mod definitely won't fix your sound problem, Because the main microphone focuses on recording sound from the front rather than your voice. But if you're using a headphone, it'll get a very good dimension of sound around you. 😄

Resolution is not great, I though the road ahead seemed blurry and weird. I don't think Go Pro is really suited for the purpose you are using it for.

Gopro10 has 5.4k resolution, In this video what resolution did you use 4k or 5.4k and scale down to 4k.

Hi Jeroen, the picture quality of your new GoPro is ok, but the quality of the tone is really bad! Better you take your Samsung smartphone with a gimbal.
