Now you have started me wondering about her life. She was brought up conservatively, yet she sings about complicated relationships with pathos and conviction. Has Putri had her heart broken? It should be unlikely and we really don't want her to experience the things she sings about - she is too young, too pure. In fact, it is the interpretation and delivery that gets me more than her actual voice.

She can do "Cry-singing" which can penetrate your feeling into the soul. This is more than music can do. This is secret God has blessed her in compensation for no having sight. God is fair.

Truly surprising song choice for this young lady, but she delivers this heartbreak with pathos and finesse! Such a strange combination but delightfully emotive. The key is flattering to her voice and I suspect that I enjoyed this a tad more than the original. Perhaps because it is in a more comfortable range? The original feels more stressed and maybe less authentic somehow? Still a beautiful song and this is a terrific cover. Cheers from Canada!

Now I will look it up since it's co-written by him and Olivia. It's interesting you mentioned her being blind, I wonder too how she makes the songs so alive, so colourful when she has no vision. We don't know her idea of beautiful, how being happy looks on a person. I think her missing a sense and the rest being enhanced allows her to copy emotion she hears in people’s voices without needing to have experienced it herself. I think she can feel the meaning of words in a way a majority of people don’t.
