I once heard some one say Bangali people(both from Bangaladesh and our west bengal) thinking is 20 years ahead of common Indian thinking. Now i realise how true was that! Removing reservation quota is what we need here in India too. Greetings, full support and love from India! The 45 trillion dollars that were taken mainly consist of natural resources. If you look at India's current mineral deposits, most are completely depleted (that's why India imports their minerals instead of producing them themselves; they have nothing left). The British forced Indians to mine and carry those minerals and resources to the sea port so they could be sent back to England every single day for 200 years. The U.S. and U.K. infrastructure was pretty much built from not only India's natural minerals but also India's blood, sweat, and even lives (countless Indians died working in the mines all day with less than a portion of grain in their stomachs).

Our indian general category students are suffering because of quota. OBC , SC ST students belonging to creamy layer with parents who hold high positions and own property worth crores. But these people are still exploiting quota and it supposed benefits. What about general category deserving students. Tina dabi and her sister are glaring examples. Who will answering those students and their parents. It is a curse to belong to general category in India. I fully support these students and feel their pain as a parent....india needs to wake up

Quotas are there for rational reasons. What do you mean by “lower caste”? This label of “lower” to certain castes and treatment they receive from society is the reason government helps people from certain groups because people from society who call certain groups “lower” based on their own narrow primitive ideals cannot and will-not help those people of this castes but instead create problems for them.

Quota system needs to be implemented in a proper way, under rightful and watchful authorities. If not, it can be misused heavily. But other than that, it is a very much necessary system, put in place by intellectuals who knew it's importance. Learn it's history before you simply disagree out of emotional angst.

Generals population is the main issue. Removing reservation will make it impossible for other communities to grow. 10-12 lakh generals apply for upsc while only 40k sc and sts. Infacts generals get the most of the seats for them. Bangladeshi quota is very different.
