Bango v2 is an answer to many request for another simple plane design and a
trainer for beginner. It was designed to surpass Bango v1 performance. The main goal is still the same, which is a trainer plane that is easy to fly and can
withstand hard landing even crashes. Because I know beginners usually afraid
to crashing their plane, so they held back. That's why I made Bango 2 so new
pilots don't have to worry damaging their RC plane when hard landing or
crashing. By moving the motor the the center and on the back of the plane
make it free to propeller strike to the ground. Also build the vertical stab with 2
layer of foams gives Bango 2 more rugged than Bango 1. Rudder and elevator
servo placement that are outside the fuselage also an ease for beginner to
install. Bango 2 also equipped with detachable landing gear, if you hard
landing with landing gear attached, it will detached by itself and will not
damage the fuselage, because the landing gear just held by 2 rubber bands.

Excellent and very complete Beginner Trainer Plane. The design is good as protects the motor and all the expensive parts. ie: all key parts will likely survive to be included in a rebuilt plane, or the next model. Thanks for the hard work doing this, and for sharing. ♥️😎👍👍

You are a very talented designer! One thing I would like to see is a one-wing-fits-all type wing. If we make a wing with flaps and ailerons it should fit all designs. That way we could make different bodies, but use the same wing. Then we don't need as many servos and we can have a large collection of different bodies, just swap the wing! Matthew

Great video! Maybe also an idea to do a topic about learning how to fly RC planes using a RC simulator. I am a big fan of the Picasim (free) simulator (Android and PC) which works great with the PS4 controller. Especially because you can change all realistic parameters (wind, weight, power, CG). I found the combination of simulator training and outdoors training the best. You should take the time before you crash your first real model. The basic Multiplex PC simulator is also free.

I find the wings are the most difficult to build and they take a lot of foam. Plus all the servos in each wing. A universal wing would make the hobby a lot cheaper and easier. Maybe you could use a plug with multiple connections so that all the servos in the wing ended in one plug. Then you could make the same connector on the receiver side so we only needed to attach one connector and be good to go!
@JuliusPerdana
@JuliusPerdana 4 жыл бұрын
good idea, but if you want to make scale model plane, each plane has different wing shape, you cannot just use one wing
@mattdrat3087
@mattdrat3087 4 жыл бұрын
@@JuliusPerdana I agree there are differences, but for me the largest difference between models is by far the body (nose, fuselage and tail). Another benefit of one wing is the amount of space needed to store planes, and I only have a small car so I can only fit a couple of planes in. Anyway, thanks for your replies, looking forward to more of your great designs!

I'm a big fan of your channel. It's really great one. But have confusion about prop . I downloaded the build plan from your website where mentioned 6x4 prop and flying time you mentioned 7x4 prop and then 5x3x3 prop. Actually which prop you recommend finally to build this model ? End of your video U told that you have raised the wing's 'Angle of attack' by 0.5 cm and reduce the motor mount but how much degree? Did you update the full plan in your website ? I mean whatever I downloaded (build plan) from your website , is it final updated one ( A4 or AQ)?

You may refer with the final specs : it's 6x4. It's like trial and error, 7x5 was too big, 5x5x3 was too under powered

Hi. Why the CG is 4.5cm from leading Edge of the wing? I mean, for a different plane, the correct cg how to calculate? then we can move the battery to balance. If I correct, 25% rule: mean this plane wing is 18cm ===>>> 18/4=4.5cm is the CG?
@JuliusPerdana

CG range from 30% to 25% of the chord/ mean aerodynamic chord

Thanks for the amazing design! But I have a 10-inch prop, so, how can I modify your amazing plane for my prop? The main problem, that I have 2212 800kv brushless motor from Mi-copter. It has a 6 mm shaft with a screw. So, I can't just a buy a new prop.
