FINALLY, an INTELLECTUAL that can see that beyond Jin’s outgoing personality that he puts on to make people smile, he is actually an introvert. People have this idea that Jin is always crazy, always loud, but he really isn’t. He gets embarrassed when complimented and he’s shy, but forces himself to be more extroverted to make himself and his members more comfortable during run bts, interviews etc. Yoongi always says Jin is his forever roommate because he’s so quiet and they get along well. The personality he shows us is different to how he is when he’s everyday Kim Seokjin.

sometimes i read comments like they don’t believe that seokjin is actually an introvert. an introvert is not always quiet. i’m an introvert, but i can still be loud and chaotic only to my closest friends only because i’m comfortable with them. my friends know me as a jokester in the group but they know that i’m not so open with them about my feelings. which reminds me that seokjin always try to be loud and fun so other members would feel comfortable and that time when joon said that seokjin pour his thoughts that he’s too shy to tell in the song ‘Moon’ that turns to such beautiful lyrics.

When the interviewer asked who the shyest member was, Joon did not hesitate to say Jin that’s legit the cutest thing like mans didn’t even stutter! 🥺

Introvert doesn’t necessarily mean that we are “depressed” or “lonely” it’s more like we find solitude as something calming and we prefer the peace of being alone than in a crowded place, you can be an introvert and have a loud voice, you can be an introvert and be talkative when you want to, it’s not to build a stereotype, but to know how some people behave, think, and react towards certain situations, especially socializing. Introverts like spending time alone or stay at home activities, we don’t rlly prefer parties, gatherings with groups of people, and other things that require too much social interactions (of course we will sometimes do these things but very rarely). Not because we’re “strange” it’s cause our social battery easily run out when we try to keep up with someone who is possibly more outgoing than us, maybe some have different views about introverts but as an introvert myself this is what i can sum up referring to myself and my fellow introverted friends. I feel like JK is a Highly Sensitive Person. He goes into those states of "turning off" which are very characteristic for HSPs when they are overstimulated. He is very sensitive to smells, he can feel deeply the emotions of the others (he cries when they are crying) and he has the ability to focus deeply on a task which explains why is he so good at everything. He is also high sensation seeking which makes his life as an idol a lot easier. I bet more members are HSPs since it's so common among the artists.

But we all know that Jungkook loves spending alone times. He said he loves drinking alone, he goes out of his house for a walk ALONE, even during the latest Break The Silence docu series, when other members were eating dinner together, he was in his room eating chicken alone and he love to edit videos or play games or just do stuffs alone. He is comfortable to be by himself rather than associating with others. He is sometimes playful around his Hyungs but I think that during free times, he likes to be by himself and I personally can relate so much and therefore he is has been my bias for now almost 7 years 💜

finally, found many people agreeing that jin is an introvert. can easily notice he only speaks when necessary. when the members get rowdy and talk among themselves, he tend to take a step back and just listen. he likes his personal space, thats why yoongi said jin was his best roommate because jin is very similar to yoongi.

Being introvert doesn’t mean you can’t be loud and crazy. I’m an introvert true and true but my job required me to be more ‘talkative’ and outgoing person. And i’ve been doing similar job for years. People from my work place thought i’m extrovert but my close friends and family know very well that i’m introvert. I believe this is the same case with these 3 people. And being introvert doesn’t mean u don’t have friends. But close set of friends (few but very close). And in days off, introvert prefer to be alone or if hanging out, will hang out with those close set of friends only since we need to ‘re-charge’

I think my character is a fusion of jungkook and suga. When I'm with someone who I'm not close with, I become so shy, and sometimes it makes other people embarrassed. But when I'm with my family, I feel free to say and do what I want. Maybe it's the same for jungkook, with bts he became more playful and free to say what he wants. I think that introverted people, sometimes fears what the other thinks about them, or at least is like this for me

Yoongi is the most consistent introvert in general even though he'll occasionally have loud spurts. Jin goes out of his way to make others comfortable at his expense, hes still so shy. Jungkook is that type that is shy but once you get to know him he acts super weird.

I feel like people get the wrong idea of what an introvert and extrovert mean. INTROVERT does not equal to being quiet cuz jin sure isnt very quiet lmao- INTROVERT means you are generally a very private person and you like spending time alone. I am a pretty loud person in general, especially with my close friends and sometimes i do embarrassing things in publuc but that does not mean im an extrovert, but most of the time I'd just prefer to have time for myself. its same for jin becausr many people think hes an extrovert because of the way he acts with his members and his confidence but that does not contribute to whether you are an introvert or not. i have a friend that is a very confident speaker but shes actually doesnt speak much to others irl.

I don't know about you, but that interview when Jin said he doesn't have friends, it felt like he was saying the truth. He doesn't consider the members as his friends but family, thus why he said that. He really cares and treats them like family which is why he is comfortable around them even doing stuffs that may embarrass the others and himself. I noticed during interviews when they introduce themselves, he stays silent, calms himself and collects courage before his turn to do his WWH introduction. I hope he finds a bestfriend just like Tae's and Jiminie's friendship, someone who he can count on when he is down, whenever he feels like crying, someone who he doesn't have to put an act to be happy, someone who he can be just himself. For clarification: Introversion- Being in social situations is draining physically and mentally. You require alone time to recharge. Shyness does not equal introversion. You can be socially confident and be an introvert. Being reserved and less talkative does not equal introversion. You can be on the quiet side and be an extrovert (ie Tae Tae.) Extroversion- Being alone can be draining. You require time with people to recharge. Being an extrovert doesn't mean you don't like alone time. You can be an extrovert and like your alone time too. Also, some people fall more in the middle, and are known as ambiverts. There are other things that go along with them, but it's too much to type here.
