​@@The4stro The original intention for British company (Rare) is to create an adventure game called Project Dream on the SNES, but it was moved to the N 64, it wasn't working for some reason. Mostly like because realistic games kinda don't work on N 64 . Golden Eye, another Rare game is a good example of this. So the boy Edison was replaced with a bunny, which also replaced with a bear. Then the Bear would have a backpack with a bird in it. So Project Dream became Banjo Kazooie.

Rare might be worried that another Banjo game would suffer the same problems as DK 64 if not worse. It's sad but it's true, some of the greatest games exists because of hardware limitations

@@orangeslash1667 You missed my point; it wouldn't work because none of the old staff who made Banjo-Kazooie great are at Rare, and they tried to make another game anyway in the same spirit and it failed (Yooka-Laylee). Keeping a franchise consistently good is quite difficult in the industry, doubly so here in the West because we have such a strong culture of individualism. Japanese studios manage to keep franchises consistent for longer, for better or worse, because the people there tend to feel strong loyalty to their company or team as well as the idea of the franchise itself. You need the same people, and a continuous source of drive and creativity to keep a franchise consistently good game after game.

@@CrizzyEyes Wrong, even when Rare had the old staff they made Nuts and bolts instead. Theres a reason why Log made fun of collecting platformers. If D 64 is considered tedious to journalist's, than making a third Banjo platfomer is too much of a risk.
