That 5th boss was the first time I’ve ever heard of those sea creatures in the first place in Banjo Tooie and he freaked me out. Such a scary looking boss to go upon against.

The Banjo games are hilarious to me when it comes to the bosses. All of them are relatively simple to defeat and are able to be beat within a couple minutes. Then, BAM! You fight Gruntilda for a half hour with so much coming at you at once 💥😂

My favorite boss was Patches I think he was a unique character and I like how you have to destroy his patches in order to defeat him

I always loved the noise that welder does when he comes back down. I used that noise in real life; that’s how much I love it

Chili Billi and Chilly Willy were some of my favorite bosses as a kid. Maybe because i just like dragons, fire powers and ice powers.

mingy jongo was the first jump scare i experienced.

This is my whole childhood right here. I never played the whole game because my brothers didn't want me to mess anything up so all I did was watch. We had so much fun playing the game and they loved fighting the bosses. Sadly something is wrong with our N64 cause we can't refight the bosses anymore

There's a Stop n' Swop 2 achievement related to the bosses, after you unlock the boss rematch mode. *_You have to beat all the bosses in 15 minutes_*

Man I used to play this game non stop back in the day. So many memories...

Fun detail I noticed is that Mingy Jongo immediately sounded sus with the "Hello Banjo" instead of calling him "bear" like Mumbo Jumbo usually does most other times. And he certainly doesn't say just... hello of all greetings lol. I just love that attention to detail for hinting to us that something is off with him. Also the detail of his disguise literally falling off piece by piece is something I never noticed until now and that's wicked! Also, top tip for those who have not played this game: please go into that battle with at least two health! The hit he lands on you *does actually damage you and is unavoidable due to being part of the cutscene!* Thus it being the only damage that you are allowed to take on any legit no damage run. So yeah. Also man scared tf outta me as a child! He still kinda does lmao. Anyway classic game, best sequel to any game imo 👌

So Klungo can have a random potion as long as it hasn’t been used by him yet in his 3 fights? Thats actually pretty neat
