Most of the aspirants come to banking in search of better job opportunity but only 1 in a hundred comes with an aspiration to become a good banker, with real intrest in Banking. So when the job they does is not an outcome of their interest and upon that if it is demanding then it is obvious that there will be a lot of negativity. People doesn't go to SSC with passion too, but the work there is monotonous so there isn't much to complain there. . . So aspirants should think twice before choosing banking, they should have minimum interest in the banking operations and Financial World. Every Vertical of the financial sector is demanding, so if you have NILL intrest about the job then you should not tempt by the salary. BANKING IS NOT FOR EVERYONE

Aise aadhi adhuri cheezein mat failaya kro ....ek baar hi aaya h maths ka tough....last year...usme hi students ne itna halla macha diya tha....meri friend h UPSC ki....itne hard ni hota unka.... UPSC me subjects or interview different hota h.. isliye UPSC hard mana jata h! SBI PO me maths main role p hoti h you think woh easy aayegi?😂....kholke dekho ek baar....mix questions ni aate UPSC me...ek baar mix topic wale krke dekho SBI PO k... you'll know kya hard h kya easy. Baki UPSC as a whole process hard hota h SBI se!

Ye shi kha tumne bhai qk clearing bank po especially SBI PO is not everyone’s cup of tea. Aur rhi baat CGL ki to mai job bura h ya achha h uspe comment ni krr rha hu. But cgl exam clear krna banking ke compare bht easy h. Ha ye baat alag h ki agar rank achhi ni h to post v achhi ni milegi.

Short term - ssc - not much work pressure except for certain posts, handsome salary, transfers aren't there that often I guess (plz check with someone), promotions are slow, can not change career midlife. Long term - bank - initially it may be hectic, you may not experience good work - life balance, salary & perks are good. Promotions are fast & by the time you reach midlife things may ease out & if you want you can switch to private sector & get into investment banking, do an MBA from a good college & look for opportunities in private sector etc
